Great i just got one of these, strings were little high, neck had slight inward bow. Frets seem good. Im lowering the bridge a little and go from there. Thanks for the great tips, here in the south U.S. Ga. Take care. Subscribed.
Bought myself a nice Unsung Dot last year. Dad borrowed it and I've not seen it since. So bought myself a cheap China Dot off ebay for £125. Really dig it. Put a Deusemberg Trem II on it and its been a great gigging guitar. The frets are pretty terrible in the higher registers, but w/e. Not unplayable by any stretch. Just got a Sheraton for £250, one of the late model Korean ones with the ABR and the 5 ply neck. Definitely a keeper. At this price its just crazy good. Even if it does need fret work. I'll probably put a Bigsby on it and some evo gold frets. Just can't beat the price of these things! I am a little surprised that younger players dig these and that they seem to be enduringly popular accross the generations .. I mean you'd think they hate the styling. But nope!
Another good video Rob. Certainly a nice looking guitar, really like the wood patterning and grain with that burst paint job. Thought the cleans sounded very nice too. Good cheap guitar.
Beautiful guitar. My son has the same exact one. Says it's a very good guitar. He's a professional musician playing for 20 years. It's gotta be good if he says it is 👍
Just traded for a 2014 on sunday .. it was funny that you showed this cause i had my deal brewing for 2 weeks .. he he he :P Very nice playing/demo at the end of the video there !! :)
Yeah, I am loving my Strat more and more as I play. Started playing Hendrix’s Purple Haze yesterday and going well so far 😎😎👌 suprised myself with how much I’m loving my strat 👌🎸
Just bought Sheraton II, after 30+ years of no playing. NEVER cared about setup -too lazy a man- thanks for this, very helpful!
Ah nice good to hear started playing again, hope this video helps will make it play better with a good setup

She is a beast of a guitar, unfortunately to keep the videos rolling it will have to move on at some point :(
I know dude, but.......
Sell another
haha I need the money for the upkeep of the channel, if I'm honest as long as I have my jazzmaster I'm happy :)
I really dug the set up process. It’s enjoyable to see how you do it. The guitar sounded great too and awesome playing to go with it!
Glad you enjoy the setup videos bro :)
It is one of Epiphones finest has such a high end feel so nice to play.
Thank you :)
It must be good if you’re saying that.
Yeah I'm digging it for sure 👌🎸
Really beautiful guitar love the inlays on the fret board too
She is a class guitar really well made with a high end feel
I was thinking the same thing!

Thanks dude glad you liked the video, she is a beaut with a classy finish looks so nice.
I love that pickgaurd
Yeah I'm digging it too with the binding and it's quite transparent
Good job, that's the same way D'Addario recommend for restringing, I"ve been doing it that way since last century.
That's the way I got taught when I started playing In the early 90s
@@theguitarmanifesto It's the easiest way and they don't slip, anything without vintage tuners gets done this way, but I prefer vintage
Yeah it's the best way for sure, me too vintage tuners are my choice
Thats a nice guitar Rob, good playing at the end, nice and melodic 👍
It is a really nice guitar has a classy feel, thanks dude appreciate it
Great video and very clear instructions. What are your thoughts about using those notched fret levels? Are they of any use?
Yes I do sometimes use a notched level, which gives you a very accurate measurement.
Lovely guitar mate 👌🤘👍
Thank you she is a beaut

Thank you glad you liked it :)
Dude i would keep that guitar. Something special about it.
I'd love to she is a beaut but to keep the videos rolling and to fund the channel she will have to move on at some point :(
Another cool vid. I personally think the Epiphones look better with the pick guard taken off though.
Yeah I have to agree I thought I'd keep it on for now until I do the review video
Keeper that one dude 😎🎸🎸
Mark I'd love to it's a very classy guitar, unfortunately I will have to move it on at some point to pay for future video content 😪
The Meat Manifesto that’s true mate, gotta keep the reviews going, and there’s always one guitar that is your favourite 😎👌🏻
harsh reality of a small youtube channel :(
I got today a 2008 Unsung Korea sheraton II, need clean it up a bit. What do you recommend for the gold hardware?
Furniture polish is my weapon of choice 😄
What about the action at the first. ?
There's no issue with it
It sounds nice, but the body does look big the arse of the guitar, something I hate about my Epi LP Standard too it sounds really good tho
I like the shape of these guitars has a classic style sounds and plays amazing :)
I know we all have different tastes so that's cool.
Yeah, I am loving my Strat more and more as I play. Started playing Hendrix’s Purple Haze yesterday and going well so far 😎😎👌 suprised myself with how much I’m loving my strat 👌🎸
that's very cool learning some of Hendrix's deep cuts, strat is the guitar to have for that style. glad you're enjoying it
Sounds as good as a Gibson IMO.
Totally bro feels as good too very high end feel 👌🎸
@@theguitarmanifesto Yeah it looks mint
If Noel Gallagher toured with one I guess they must be good.
Oh yes
Ah, thought you might be giving it a rattle can Union Flag to use in your Oasis cover band, Oh well maybe not.
Haha good shout 😮👌
The bridge is backwards
