Anytime my guns get a scratch or a wear mark on them, I just tell myself they are marks of my love for the gun. If I want to protect my guns, I could store them in a safe to never be touched ever again. But no... I love them, so I take them shooting, and they get worn. Those marks personalize the guns to me.
