Something about a Colt that just can't be beat. I'm thinking of having my Colt M4 Carbine 16" barrel professionally shortened to 14.5 / 14.7 pin and weld by Specialized Armament. Just seems to be the best balance for that weapon from what I keep hearing, and since this rifle's gonna be a keeper and Go-To weapon, I was wondering what you would think of that idea. Thanks ! :D
If I was you I would prob just buy a new colt barrel that’s already at 14.5 and install it. You could even buy a socom barrel. Then you would have the 16ich as a spare. I’m not sure what it would cost to have it shortened prob cheaper but then u have to be with out the weapon for a period of time. Replacing the barrel is easy whenever I do replace this barrel I’m thinking about turning it into a SBR. Or I’ll have something pinned and welded. Again if u buy a new barrel u can just have that barrel sent out by itself for the pin and weld job and keep ur rifle then replace the barrel when it comes back.
@@THEPAGUNGUY Good thinking. I think it's around $260 to have the barrel done by them and recrowned balanced etc how they do everything and with a forged a2 birdcage, etc., they mention the rifle just feels right afterwards. I'm going to look for the link, I believe these guys are master gunsmiths. thanks again for your feedback. :)
There both the TA-31 which is the 4x Acog there my favorite optic. I have a video on Acogs if u wanna check it out. If u can afford a Acog then i highly recommend you get one
Still like Colt.

How do you like the acog? Is that the 3.5 power? Do you prefer that over the 4x? Thank you.
