To all individuals with disabilities or special needs/accommodation for flights you can contact TSA and ask for a Passenger Support Specialist (PSS). TSA will get your travel plans and assign a PSS to meet you at a designated location when you arrive to the airport. The PSS will assist you and your traveling companions with processing through security. I hope this helps someone. ❤

When applying for a passport, get the TSA “Pre,” “Clear,” and “Global Entry.” These will save a lot of time get you through security and customs very quickly!
Also, when booking a flight, try to get a seat in the bulkhead- it’s said to be the quietest place on the plane.
And do request that you board the plane first. As one with special needs you need more time and space to get yourself settled in.
As an Autistic (I was officially diagnosed as a kid but the diagnosis was withheld from me. I discovered this about 5 years ago- and I’m 60!), I found these hacks are extremely helpful to me!

Where I live there are several autistic children. They are on the same corner and street as I am. I am really close to them. One is an adult and he is the genius of the crew. They are all beautiful humans and I feel blessed that I can communicate really well with them and they trust me. I do love each of them extra special ❤

I find number 10 to be the most important. I have decided that if people have a problem it is their problem, not mine 😊.
We have always travelled internationally with our autistic son, from birth, because our work entailed a lot of travel so he’s probably used to the travelling situation. My recommendation is alway try to reserve the first set of seats behind first class. It has more room and they are not able to kick the seat in from of them!
Well done guys. Keep up the good education for our community.

Yes 10 is the most important.
Thank you also for your tip, that will help a lot of people in general. 😊❤️

Re: TSA/ Airlines you can actually go to your airline ticket counter or at the Gate, you can request PRE-BOARD and it will allow you and your family to board the plane first

I am not a parent of an autistic child and I hope that you don’t mind me saying that I do watch your videos from time to time cute family but I think another tip is to have a travel companion for yourself mom or dad like you said if your husband was not there then you would have had a meltdown so that travel companion could be that extra link to better travel with autistic children or children in general. Keep up the good work that you guys are going. God Bless.

My grandson has autism-when I’m planning our trips, I never do it online. I call so they put a note on his ticket and travel that he’s autism and I have to board first. That gives me time to get him situated. I don’t have to bump up against people and have him to go sit down because he’s not going to do it right away, once that’s done he’s good to go. And, I’m always ahead of time. He likes watching the planes.

Ok I’m pretty new to your channel so you just gonna slip in that you’re autistic also, maybe I missed the video about that. If not would you care to share? I think you’re an amazing person and mother and so mature for your young age. I know you’ve been through a lot from what you’ve shared and we probably don’t know the half of it BUT I’m proud of you and your accomplishments.
    Blessings 💜💚
And hug those babies for me 😊

Omg best tips! Thank you so much! I will keep these in mind for future road trips and trips in general. We just found out not too long ago that my 6 year old daughter is on the spectrum so it’s hard sometimes to understand what she’s going through. Thank you thank you friend! ❤❤❤

I have some comfort items that I always bring with me and they go into my emergency go back when we have tornados they have the same priority as my wallet and meds. One is my build a bear bunny and another is a music box that plays the song my mom sang to me as a baby. I have no memory of her but my body remembers how it felt when she sang to me and so now when I hear that song my heart rate slows and I just calm down and feel super safe and loved.

I just don't know why you don't have your son in the videos? Are you not proud of them? How do they be with Mikko I think a lot of us want to know since you are sharing Mikko's life with us and how you guys are having another baby. Where do the twins fit in at? Seems like they are not really a part of the family!!!

    • @melissad52
      @melissad52 Рік тому

Really..... u dont know everything n not entitled to either. Twins have a different father maybe its bc of him maybe he dont want his kids exposed online maybe the twins arent comfortable with it it could be because they are school aged children n entitled to some privacy shes an amazing mother way better then most just bc u watch a short video of one day dont mean anything u dont know what she does how how she is with her kids
