I don’t as a UGA fan, Gunner gets these guys hype while Beck has the mannerisms of a 3 toed sloth. I was done with him when he was on the bench smiling after getting embarrassed against ole miss. Gunner brings a whole new energy and skill set to this offense, which really fits better than Beck. Without Ladd and Bowers, Beck is mid and I think it’s pretty apparent after his performance this season
The stats (opp adjusted) all favor ND. Clear matchup advantage for ND's defense, especially passing, vs a backup QB. ND plays smart, efficient football. High IQ. Just because you have 5 stars doesn't mean you are the better team. I think this goes like Ole Miss. 28 to 6 Go Irish
Not at all what I'm saying. I was responding to the video stating that they don't have injuries. The fact of the matter is that it's next man up for all teams when injuries happen, and Notre Dame has done well in that. Yall just read shit how you want to.
Schematically, Gunner fits the offense that was passed down from monken better that Beck. It’s entirely possible the scheme suites the offense better than Beck
@@jdtheguitartist this Georgia offense was tailored to Beck's strengths, what are you talking about about?! And Gunner is an entirely different QB. Have you even watched your team play this year?
@tonychristian9180....5 picks, and 2 pick sixes, and you only win by 10! That means one mistake by Leonard and that Notre Dame offense.....your cooked!
This should be really good close game that could go either way. A turn over, a critical penalty in the red zone, who has the last possession? Who really knows in this one, very interesting to see for sure.
@@tonychristian9180you mean the GT that didn’t have their starting QB? If you gotta hang ya hat on a team with a back up. That doesn’t speak much to your confidence. How’d that NIU game though?
GA is starting their backup QB who played in 3 games this year and has 0 touchdowns. GA has needed to go to overtime the past two games. ND has led by 14+ points in the 4th quarter of 11 straight games, all wins.
ND has absolutely had injuries this year. 4 starters on defense & 1 on offense out for the whole season. Best D-lineman Howard cross was out for 3 games.
The Dawgs got gashed for over 200 yards by UMass and Gtech back to back games. ND has the best rushing attack in the nation it could get ugly. Additionally the 4 mobile QBs the Dawgs played this year were Alabama-Milroe-41 pts, MissSt-Van Buren-31 pts, Ole Miss-Dart-28 pts, and Gtech-King-42 pts. The 4 highest points against totals of their season and in those games they were 2-2 with an 8 OT win against Gtech and the other win against Miss St which is probably the worst team in the SEC. There are a lot of giant glaring red flags about this matchup. The Dawgs would be better off playing Ohio State or Oregon honestly, this is a terrible matchup for UGA
@TheKRL78 being 11th in overall rushing yards doesn't mean they are the 11th best rushing attack. Love is a 5 star elite talent and probably the 2nd best running back behind Jeanty overall, Leonard is arguably the best rushing QB in the nation, and Price is the best 2nd option in the nation. The Irish offensive line is top 10 in the nation, maybe top 15 at worst. Just because certain teams have more rushing yards doesn't mean they are a more prolific rushing attack. Nobody is better at running the ball than that team. The way they can run the ball and play defense is terrifying and the SEC talking heads that still think the conference is just better than everyone else and that's how it's always gonna be are making a big mistake and underestimating this team. The Dawgs D-line has to be superheroes in this game for them to have a chance to win.
@TheKRL78 hahaha yea you're right. Army, New Mexico, Liberty are all definitely better at running the football than Notre Dame. Keep living the dream dude!!!
The Irish have not faced a team with the size and athleticism on Oline and Dline like that of UGA this season. That's always the deciding factor in these games. The Irish can't stimulate that kind of speed and power in practice. Good back and watch the last 2 games UGA vs Irish......UGA dominated both lines of scrimmage!
Is there really a big difference to having 3 weeks off to having 12 days off? Other than maybe rest and recuperation? There is going to be rust from 3 weeks off.
UGA plays game speed every Tuesday in their practice “Bloody Tuesday”. After the hell sankey put UGA through this year with that awful schedule, they needed this much rest and it gave key guys a lot of time to get healthy. Expect a different UGA team than anyone has seen all year
It’s ridiculous to me that it’s okay for every team in the country to struggle with a back up qb but when Georgia has one it’s “oh they have a bunch of 5 stars” not one of those 5 stars is throwing the football having
Georgia has the better coach and the better roster. They’ve been tested far far more than notre dame and will win by stopping the run and forcing Riley to throw which is something he isn’t that great at. Georgia will run effectively on notre dame and win by 10-14 points. Notre Dame will keep it close but Georgia will pull away late.
@cunningstunt69 Texas is overatted! The only good team they played beat them twice. Both times Texas couldn't score over 20. UMass and Tech scored more then them. The NIU game is in the past ND has won a 11 games since then and has been blowing teams out. They are a good football team with a shit ton of injuries. I wouldn't sleep on them because they could beat Georgia. The line is close for a reason.
Georgia SOS is 36% harder but they lost twice as many games. Simple math has ND winning 30-28 which matches the Vegas line. You have nothing but emotion with your "10 to 14" idea.
Ain’t no way anyone truly thinks a team that lost to northern Illinois has any chance whatsoever of beating Georgia, even with them having the 2nd string qb starting
SEC dominance only exists in your heads guys. Nobody knows how the SEC top 5 would fare in a different conference. Especially in this NIL era, you guys will realize it when it’s already too late.
Guys, Stockton has been in Athens for the past three seasons he knows the whole offense frontwards and backwards! Not to mention BOBO has known Gunner since he was in grade school! Here is a few Ga. HS records he holds. BTW he was the #7 QB in the Nation in 2022. Career touchdown passes previously held by Trevor Lawrence (2014-2017) Combined touchdowns (running and passing) previously held by Deshaun Watson (2010-2013) Total yardage for a career (all forms) previously held by Deshaun Watson (2010-2013)
I'm sorry but ND plays a trash schedule most years but yet is sweet talked by the media if u want it or not. Remember 2012. Not the same set up, but similar.
ND has to play it perfect to win,Kirby has the experience and success and Georgia is truly battle tested,ND's injury attrition hurts them more than Georgia.Georgia has to make hay running the ball and stopping the run if not .... my score predictions tend to be extremely homerish, but ND missing their starting DE(x2), IDL, CB, LT, C, and RG with injury will be the reason they lose. you cant go against Georgia with that many backups and expect to win. Freeman brings his best, but the Irish lose 24-20
@SkeeterHawkins....you know damn well Notre Dame is not the best defense in the nation. Notre Dame is a fundamentally sound team, with a strong running game. As a Georgia fan, this will be a big test, but one thing I KNOW for a fact, if you beat Georgia, you better play all four quarters.
@@willbriesemeister651 - Ball? I will tell you this about ball - When this game is over, UGA is gonna wish they never seen a football. That's what I know about ball.
Because as UGA fans we knew Beck didn’t fit this offense well. After we lost our best 2 WR before the season and first couple games due to legal matters, I knew Beck wasn’t going to thrive. He doesn’t have good touch on the ball and we don’t have mcconkey or bowers who would just catch every ball no matter what. If Beck could hit Arian smith in stride, we would have multiple first play of the game tuddys but Beck just couldn’t do it. The drops, I know it’s easy to blame the WR but Beck just doesn’t have the touch he needs to deal with mid WR’s. Gunner being a dual threat, and the WR magically going 12/16 with gunner off the bench showed us who we need out there. Beck will be a good scout team QB after he gets drafted late and that’s the end of the Beck hype

Okay, let's just state this as clearly as possible, ND is ALWAYS ranked somewhere in that mid 5 to 10 range, and WE (UGA) even scheduled yall ON PURPOSE, and yet over and over we beat yall, we will beat ND again and the media knows it...we (SEC folks) knew Tenn couldnt hang with Ohio State, but thats not a story to grab views, so as usual they will talk about how Notre Dame if they do this or that will give Georgia a hard time or maybe possibly win so y'all listen to those words because this is what happens all the time..... And then when the game is over y'all will realize that we were the better team... It will not be close, 34-17 UGA.... Now when replying to this be sure and get your facts straight, and remember you have never beaten us, yall even lost to your sec version of Vanderbilt, schools that I cannot even properly think of the name correctly because it's irrelevant but they should have never ever beat y'all, and then I'm sure someone will say but it's how we're playing right now, no it means that's part of your season also, that is part of what your team is.... a team that can be beat by basically who the hellever shows up on the other side.... And while this may all come across is very arrogant, and of course some of it is, it's also factually true and the team Notre Dame nose deep down that they have also never beat Georgia, and y'all will not beat us this time ever... But I understand how everything works and I agree it makes for great conversation..... That being said I will go on record as saying Notre Dame is a great school, unfortunately we will not be doing an academic debate, we will be playing football, and y'all know as well as I do we just want to back-to-back national titles, was that the doorstep last year, and lo and behold if this was supposed to be a bad year for us, that isn't it ironic where the SEC champions.... Are you absolutely crazy , of course it matters who you play and ND has played absolutely no one . Do you not think Georgia couldn’t put up those numbers against those teams!!
Georgia will have a double digit win, lock it in. A team like ND can’t play a cupcake schedule all year & then think they can knock off the Dawgs… They get exposed EVERY time they make it to the playoffs, this year will be no different.
And that scenario, that history along with the NIU loss is the energy, the mindset, the motivation that Marcus Freeman and his staff have engraved in their minds to come up with a game plan to take it to Georgia. They aren't standing around with their arms crossed or going out their mind over Georgia, if anything they are working twice no.....3 times as hard as Kirby to prevent another 2012 like upset.
Do you not think Kirby is working just as hard or harder?? Georgia will be well prepared & if by chance Georgia is down by only a few points at halftime, god help ND when they come back out. Kirby is the king at halftime adjustments. ND will lose.
@@nightlord40k76 the big blemish in my opinion on Kirby this year is that he played Alabama and allowed milroe to have success running. Then he failed to fix that issue vs Georgia Tech. If UMASS can run on Georgia then I'm sure ND can. I think it’s close. Good football is played outside of the south, despite what some narrow-minded Southerners think.
@ ND will get Georgia’s best shot, no doubt! But I don't think Georgia blows them out. I'd be shocked if Georgia wins by more than one score, if they even win.
So this game won’t be close. But here’s why: 1. Gunner Stockton is going to dominate in this game. He has the Stetson Bennett swagger. 2. Notre Dame’s undersized & light assed front blitzes a ton and Gunners running ability to get outside of the pocket is gonna torch them with scrambles to suck in the secondary and free up downfield backyard routes which Gunner is great at throwing. 3. Riley Leonard isn’t Haynes Kings, this ain’t a rivalry, he hasn’t seen a Kirby Smart defense ever, Williams/Walker are monsters unlike anything ND has seen, and nobody successfully runs a conventional rushing attack on Georgia in a big game on the biggest stage. 4. Georgia is going to come out firing on all cylinders after 3.5 weeks of rest and tired of hearing all the doubters about how good ND is and that this GA team isn’t as good as the past teams. 5. Georgia will throw deep off the QB RPOs they are installing. 6. With Arian Smith and Anthony Evans in motion as jet sweep options, ND won’t be able to commit to all out blitzes. 7. Georgia will just straight bully ND because they have played tougher competition, they are built to be mean, they are battle tested, and they are just plain tougher. 8. Kirby Smart + Will Muschamp is back full time = No offensive production for ND. Georgia 42 Notre Dame 17

Not a single dawg fan will have that excuse cause most of them think Stockton is better then beck
@iTrySparks Gunner is better
I hope we see a 70 yard play action TD to Smith to start the night
The way Notre Dame plays aggressive on defense it might just happen
The stats (opp adjusted) all favor ND. Clear matchup advantage for ND's defense, especially passing, vs a backup QB. ND plays smart, efficient football. High IQ. Just because you have 5 stars doesn't mean you are the better team. I think this goes like Ole Miss. 28 to 6 Go Irish

@sandraogden6832 Quite the opposite. I think Notre Dame wins because of their depth getting experience all season. No excuses here.

ND has absolutely had injuries this year. 4 starters on defense & 1 on offense out for the whole season. Best D-lineman Howard cross was out for 3 games.
Nd 35 ga 28 higher scoring than folks expected
Notre Dame is 11th in rushing
@@HERExCOMExTHExIRISH 11th is 11th
@TheKRL78 hahaha yea you're right. Army, New Mexico, Liberty are all definitely better at running the football than Notre Dame. Keep living the dream dude!!!
Every single one of those QBs could run and throw. Riley isn’t them.
LMFAO - how did that go for you guys?
Is there really a big difference to having 3 weeks off to having 12 days off? Other than maybe rest and recuperation? There is going to be rust from 3 weeks off.
Maybe for an undisciplined team. UGA practices harder than any other team in the country.
If botre dame can score on every redzone and run for big plays they have a chance. If leonard has to make throws they lose by 21 plus.
Georgia isn't stopping then run. They couldn't do it against UMass nor Tech and it won't happen against ND. Georgia better be ready!

It's weird to hear a team hand waiving away losing their starting QB the game prior to the matchup.
