Agree with Fluff being an All-League player but I have to say this. Mississippi was pretty dang successful running the ball the second half of the season against the best teams in the conference with the bad offensive and a true freshman QB. Davon Booth had over 700 plus yards 5 tds rush another 4 tds receiving which is why I’m more hype on fluff doing amazing in year one in Starkville. They also bring back booth as a number 2 so he gets to stay fresh

If what folks here in Kentucky have heard is true, Cal DOES NOT WANT TO BE AT ARKANSAS. Scuttlebutt is that he was negotiating with Arkansas as leverage to get Mitch Barnhart to let him hire his son to replace the only really good assistant he had on last years Kentucky team,. John Welch. Welch engineered that beautiful offense that UK ran last year but he had tired of Cal's ridiculous insistence on starting Wagner and Edwards over two lottery picks in Dillingham and Sheppard. Sheppard, Dillingham and Reeves were, by a good margin, the best perimeter scoring combination in the country, but they rarely played together. That's how UK lost in the first round of both the SEC and NCAA tourneys. Cal put his personal hopes for Wagner and Edwards draft prospects ahead of the program, so Barnhart was in no mood to let him hire his kid. . And from the scuttlebutt since Cal had not informed UK of those flirtations he had in fact breached his contract and was therefore not eligible for his buyout. Barnhart was getting ready to fire him. Cal took the Arkansas job because he had no job at UK anymore.

They don't even have a quarterback. If Ty Simpson did not see playing time this year when Milroe was playing like garbage, he must not be any good. There is no in between for LSU this season IMO. I agree with a lot of this but I think you’re off the mark on OU going 6-6. I have OU going 4-8, with a slugger’s chance to go 5-7. They lose Bowman and Stutsman on defense; while their fans thought way too highly of their defense, it was decent-ranked around 10th-and it’s hard to see it improving after losing a couple of it’s brightest points. On offense, OU fans are all excited about new qb Mateer, but they seem to be forgetting that they had the worst O-line in the SEC by a mile and nothing their qb’s did or will do isn’t affected by that putrid O-line play. They haven’t made enough fixes on that O-line and so Mateer will be affected by that. It doesn’t matter how accurate he is when he’s on his back most of the game, and pressured/sacked within 2.5-3 seconds continuously. Also they have a new OC in his year one with the program, so it will be a new system to learn. OU will win vs: Illinois State Temple Auburn Kent State OU will lose to: Michigan Texas S Carolina Ole Miss Tennessee Alabama Missouri LSU MAYBE they pull off a lucky win against ONE of those teams but I don’t see which. Anyone who disagrees with me, say which of those 8 games you see them winning. ALSO, it’s going to be brutal the way this plays out, schedule-wise. They’ll win the first game and lose the second game (Illinois State and Michigan, respectively) then they’ll win the next 3. So they’ll be sitting at 4-1 and their fans will be brimming with hope. Then they play the next 7 games and lose every one of them. Sooner Tragic, indeed.
