This table from Epic Pinball was widely distributed as shareware in the mid 1990s. The stated objective is to "[b]ring the android to life!"
The author of this run does just that, maxing out all of the game counters and achieving a very impressive final score.
3:53 A ball falls out of the machine?!
2 times falls out of the machine
I've never seen it before, looks like a bug to me.
LOL XD
Yep, Epic Pinball got very wobbly during multi ball. I think this is partly why they made those modes so hard to get to. That phys/sys scoop is evilly placed.
Ahhh the years of Shareware... I loved it, that's how I discovered Warcraft 2 as a kid.
LGR needs to see this
Ah yes, those were the good old days. Played the hell out of that game in the long long ago.
So does this mean that version 1 of the Android table doesn't offer any glitches or advantages that could be significant for a TAS?
Regardless, it's great to see some closure on this table. I never did get that far in the game in my whole life, after all...
The sounds on this level is the best!!
This MIDI instrument set is the best thing ever. Cheers DwangoAC for making this :D
This game uses MOD music files, which include their own sound samples as opposed to MIDI. Neat stuff. :)
I didn't know that! Thanks for making me less dumb :D
@@DaVince21 they actually used screamtracker for this. most of the tracks are compatible with the format, however, as they only used 4 channels. others, like the title screen, used 8 channels
@@psionikal Oh true. If I recall correctly the file extension of the music is .psm which are closest to s3m files.
After the the "activate" message on the small screen disapears and changes to "jackpot" and after the message "physical systems complete" was shown, is there any other goal to achieve? On a new ball it still sais "bring the android to live"... I am waiting for some kind of "I AM ALIVE" message or alike.
It does feel like there should be a wizard mode if you get the activate jackpot, complete all the physical systems, and get to full power.
I didn't know the guy from Rise of the Robots guest starred in this.
Shareware of this game is all you need. I couldn't count how many hours I played this when I was a kid
Wish someone would port these to Visual Pinball tables.
Wow.....Ive never seen 3 balls in play.....
A final score of 905,847,944 points. That is a big frickin' score. xD
Thought it was pepsi man pinball.
I NEED THE SHAREWARE
Well, go find it then.
And if you like it, buy the whole package for just a bit over five quid! www.gog.com/game/epic_pinball_the_complete_collection
You know, you could do as he asked and point him to a reliable download of the shareware version too.
