I think Nicole thrilled that she can finally do PDA cause she seems to be in overdrive. Mahmoud doesn't look very comfortable with them, which isn't surprising cause PDA's are frowned upon in Egypt. But given some time and space hopefully they will both be able to adjust and blend their "culture/lifestyles" together. Many couples before them have done that successfully and generally they keep the best of both cultures and are happy. I wish that for Nicole and Mahmoud.

I absolutely love this! That right there shows that it’s genuine she really does him and I really hope that will have a long happy life together. She was right to come back to America. Everyone looks happy at the airport when arrivals are taking place.
He looks like he feels very overwhelmed and homesick already. I feel bad for him to be honest. Must feel so overwhelming if you’ve only been in Egypt all your life and all of a sudden you’re in a western non Muslim country where the basic Islamic things are a challenge like finding a place to pray safely or finding halal food
I don’t think he will stay there for long. He clearly looks uncomfortable with kissing in public and she keeps kissing him. Must be such a culture shock.
If he can get plugged into a good Muslim community in the states and can find a way to merge the cultures, he will be fine but it will take some time. It’s a huge culture shock. Nicole tried very hard for him so hopefully he will try just as hard for her.
