I don't have an issue with the singer; I genuinely hope she succeeds in the band. My concerns lie more with the fans than with Linkin Park itself. It seems they accept anything without criticism, which I believe has contributed to the decline in the band's music quality. Songs like 'Castle of Glass,' 'Guilty All the Same,' and the repetitive 'Keys to the Kingdom' exemplify this shift. Their last two albums were disappointing, and I doubt anyone will look back on 'The Hunting Party' or 'A Thousand Suns' with the same fondness as they do with 'Hybrid Theory' and 'Meteora.' Mike and the band were at their best when external pressures pushed them to produce better material, which is why we received some outstanding albums in their early years. It wasn't until they began collaborating with Rick Rubin that everything changed. Personally, I never embraced their new sound; I found 'Minutes to Midnight' to be merely decent, with several tracks that I believe were subpar. 'In Between' and 'Valentine's Day' stand out as some of the weakest songs in their discography. They transitioned from creating two masterful albums to producing records where I would skip through half the tracks. Additionally, the logo they've adopted, which some perceive as an 'illuminati' symbol, has been off-putting. It feels as though the band was drawn into a different direction after their mash-up with Jay-Z in 2004, and their music has suffered since then. The crux of the issue is that fans seem unable to provide honest feedback on what they hear. They appear too caught up in the world of 'likes' and views, often expressing sentiments like, 'Oh my gosh, this is the best song ever!' when, in reality, it is not. This kind of encouragement may lead the band to continue producing subpar material, knowing that fans will purchase it regardless. As for the upcoming album, I have little faith in Mike's decision-making or the direction the band is taking, and I have felt this way for quite some time.
I've heard Hybrid Theory & Meteora. I love their recent albums, rven more so than HT & Meteora. Just because you and a lot of people are stuck too deep inside their old albums, doesn't mean they shouldn't make other types of music. As long as they keep doing some form of rock -- classic, alternative, pop, electro -- and jyst do their own thing instead of following any cliche trends, their music will sound good. God bless you
I think I'm in a similar boat. I love the first two albums, Meteora especially. I then bought Minutes to Midnight, thinking it would be more of the same. While far from a bad album, there were only like 2 or 3 songs that I was actually drawn to. They didn't go in a bad direction, but they didn't go in a direction I was looking for...didn't listen to them much since then, but still love LP
She's got plenty of possitive Energy , and the ability to proyect it though her voice , definitely ... And she is sooo goodlooking !! ❤
🎵 The perfect fit 🖤 the wait is over⭐️. 💫 so happy for LP
It feels wrong

That was a really long rant for what is simply your opinion. To say you have concerns with any fans that don’t agree is ridiculous. Get over yourself…
Eh, u just meteora HT fans, not a real one. Thousand suns and living things are amazing and it resonates more with the band than their previous albums

I don't fully agree with you, but I upped your cmnt just to support alternative opinions over the subject.
