I'll say this for certain. Absolutely the best channel for archery information available. Everything is clear, well presented, relevant and makes absolute sense. For those of us who can't afford direct coaching, you've become that coach via your channel. Thank you indeed Sure!
Thanks for the support!
@@JakeKaminskiArchery the pleasure is mine indeed
Simply.....irreplaceable content Jake. I can confidently reference my students to your channel for detailed information on what I’ve been teaching for 13 years. Often times I come across students that end up becoming “ arrow flingers “ simply because they don’t have the patience or dedication to correctly follow the steps. I only encounter a very few percentage of “ Serious Archers “ that will stick to the very basics of this content, and they in turn, “ Develop “ their own style, within the system to make them as proficient as possible for them. Thanks for the content Sir, this is why I’ve been a dedicated subscriber to your channel since the first time I viewed it.......no fluff, no B.S.😎🙏🏹🏹🇺🇸🇵🇭👍
A horse trainer who helped me years ago, said Rick, life isn’t free, you have to pay attention! I appreciate your work. It supplements what my coach, Tom Clum, has ‘preached’ to me. Thanks.
Your video's have helped me a lot, Jake. Thank you very much.
Wow Jake, wonderful stripped down bio-mechanical truths. Thanks specially for your sharing that even you still have to work on the basics. For me, after years of trying to understand the process, I am learning to love the feeling of the final spot of follow through.
It gives me good feed back and allows me to enjoy the arrows contact with the target. It really makes the SPTs worth it for me....and is like icing on the cake. Adds to the addiction. I love your patience and trouble shooting with finding efficient ways to share NTS.
This video is gold. I'll watch it repeatedly and apply the steps until they become second nature. Thanks a lot!
I just started with KSL. Like your Videos a Lot, very good explaination. Finally Something i can Work with. I Always had Problems with ancor, Release and backtension. I trained 3h Till now, and i literally feel that i become more consistant. Thanks for charing your knowledge in an understandible way.
The expand expand EXPAND!!! part absolutely made me giggled, thanks!
I recorded my backyard training based on your videos and evaluated it. It's helping me a lot. Thank you so much.
Thanks yet again Jake, my "release" has now become my "follow through" and the entire shot cycle has become a smoother action
Well explained again! Looking forward to the more details of each step/phase in the Ksl shot cycle. Thanks !
As a new archer and trying hard to improve, this is simply fantastic. Thank you so much for this (and all your other content) Jake. As the premier on- line coach you must be helping hundreds (if not thousands) of archers looking to improve. Many thanks.
I am shooting for couple of years now and watching these videos show me that I am using this system already mostly influenced by your videos and shooting style. Even being familiar with the system these couple of videos in this series were a great resource for identifying each step and fixing some issues with my form. . The last bit where you talk about key components to focus on was the most important for me as I have noticed on my own that I shoot well if I keep on talking my self trough the shot. Thanks for the videos. The little club I am part of does not have a coach who I could work with and your channel is one of the main sources for me. Cheers.
I've got newbie people getting into archery for the first time, and what a great first presentation format to start them with. The best I've ever seen. Thanks so much Jake!
And good reminders for us that have been shooting for a while too!
This video is amongst the most important for the improvement of the quality of my technic. Thank you so much sharing your knowledge 🙏🙏🙏
This is very useful! I've just started archery. I'd done lots of sports. So it's great getting someone taking me through the very basics.
Jake, you are a gift to this sport, even for hobbyists like myself. Thank you for all you do!
Saying your steps in your head. I already did it, but I am happy to hear from a pro that I am not the only one. I do love your series.
As an archery trainer, I find your videos very helpful. They are a good visual resource.
By far the best instructional video I've seen, especially for beginning and intermediate archers.
Hi Jake, Greetings from England. Your videos are great and I often make reference to them with our novice archers in our Club. As a Level 1 Coach with Archery GB its great being able to refresh what I try to teach by watching them. My regards Jeff
I think you know this is a ridiculously amazing resource for everyone especially beginners without access to other resources and coaches. I was wondering if you could perhaps someday show how your whole process looks with your full body in view from different angles. Like looking straight on the front for instance as if I was standing next to you at the range. I think for a lot of beginners being able to slow down the video and answer some of their own questions just deeply analyze some of the movements would be amazing. Especially because you've perfected them. Thanks for everything
Awesome coaching tips. Thank you.
Thank you for demoing the shot cycle trainer. Rich
Thank you for this. Following steps consistently is key.
Excellent, Jake! Great reference and reminders for all levels.
Thank you for this, as someone new to archery going to the first "proper" session tomorrow after just finishing a beginner course these steps are massively helpful
Really appreciate your efforts directed toward those of us as amateurs.
brilliant explination Jake. This series is bang on.
Thank you so much for the content you share from a new old archer.
This is such awesome info, thanks jake for what you are doing with your teachings
thanks Jack, my coach Elías Cuesta from Spain, explains it just like you. 👏👏👏
Excellent! Great summary for all archers from beginners to experienced.
Thank you for this video. I shoot a linear style but wanted to explore this new-to-me version of NTS. Really clear, useful explanations that were quite a help in today’s training. Thank you, Jake.
Thanks for all the information in your videos - I took up recurve last year and find them very useful in trying to improve.
I recently started in Recurve archery and these videos have been very helpful in getting started on the right track. You go very in-depth compared to other channels and you generally sound like your talking to new Archer in person. Very humble for someone who has competed at the highest level. If I wasn’t located in Pennsylvania I would absolutely take a personal training course from you. Keep up to good work and those subscribers will continue to grow !!
The exact video I needed when I needed it! Thank you! Jake-Any plans on shooting the Barebow in the Lancaster Archery Classic? I would love to watch you!
Amazing! Thanks so much! I can't believe that only 9,000 people, roughly, have watched this. Who wouldn't want to learn from an Olympic medalist!? And for free!??
Thanks
Thank you! I hope this helped.
I like to use a stretch band and a spare or old grip.
Thanks!
Thanks for the super thanks!
@@JakeKaminskiArchery Just a small gesture of gratitude. Been learning A TON from you, I really really appreciate your channel and the serious TLC to ensure high quality guidance. I appreciate learning about 'the why' of things, and I appreciate the level of specificity you give for each concept or technique - it really works well for my learning style. Also, you fill in many many blanks that technique books omit, meaning, really coloring in the mental/emotional processes behind the physical form. Really appreciate it - I can't imagine how labor-intensive it is to produce these videos. THANK YOU!!! 🎯🎯🎯
Thank you for another excellent video. What about the holding step, where does it fit in the shot process? Is holding the same thing than expand?
Can you explain why you anchor below the jaw? Or do you have a video covering that? I currently anchor higher and string walk for shooting distances.
I am gain much insight from your videos.
Great videos on NCS Jake. Are you gonna finally build a hunting bow this year??? You know you want to
I love your content Jake. Having your content available in addition to my coach who recommended your content between lessons has made getting archery sooo much easier. I have a question if it's simple then why did you make very detailed form videos? I am confused.
Thanks!
Details and repetition is how you teach people.
Studies show if you have incorrect knowledge it takes about 27 exposures to the correct info on average to change that incorrect info in your brain forever.
@@JakeKaminskiArchery Ok thanks for the info! That makes more sense! Having it broken down like that makes it much less confusing!
But why is I sometimes hear the 12 steps of the shot cycle as opposed to 7?
Thanks! But can you tell us about the different between korean team posture and KSL posture?
So in the process of doing this drill would it be helpful to practice mental imagery? And, what are your thoughts - on the mental game?
9m 20secs in - my worst fears confirmed. You have the fingers of JarJar Binks :-D
More seriously, I'm (a month in to) struggling to bring and keep my elbow down at full draw, for that clean straight line from heel of the hand to elbow (and back again to shoulder) that you make look so natural.
You and me are - I think - the same height (5ft 9inches) but you seem longer-limbed than me. Body geometry must play a part here. Any advice on a way ahead?
Can this system be used for compound also?
Sure, any style of archery will benefit from a structured system.... If it is adhered to under pressure.
Omg. He missed aiming. Like as if people don't think of it at all!!! Hmpf... 🤣
