What I want is an aeropress thats like 30% larger. No idea why they havent done that.
You can easily make coffee for three people. It just needs to be diluted. Keep in mind that the V60 is for one cup. When you compare the dimensions of these two products, AeroPress is not so bad.
@@karasekjh V60 actually comes in two sizes. 01 and 02. The 01 is for 1-2 cups. I have the 02 model which can make 3-4 cups.
Checkout James Hoffmann's ultimate Aeropress technique in which he says you add coffee in the ratio for the amount of brew you want and beyond 220ml you ad rest of the water in the brew. The video explains it better than me.

My thoughts exactly! I’ve actually stopped using my aeropress specifically for this reason. It’s just so small. I would love a larger size

You are right, but it didn’t mean to be a DIY guide (it wasn’t advertised as such). We wanted to show a quite complex process of making a custom AeroPress from an idea to the finished product. It’s not as easy to do such a thing at home if you don’t have the proper tools and space in our opinion.
@@EuropeanCoffeeTrip Unfortunately the video you set out to make, and the title you gave the finished upload do not match up in this case. I'm afraid this is a click bait title, as it advertises something that the video does not deliver.
I came to this video expecting to be shown how to make my own aeropress (whether that meant customization or from scratch, doesn't matter) in some amount of steps, thanks to the title. A DIY video, essentially. Unfortunately step one was to send the press to a professional, quite the opposite of DIY haha.
A more fitting title would have omitted the "How" and instead simply have said "Making A Custom Aeropress (A step by step process)". This title does not promise to the viewers that you are about to show them HOW to make THEIR OWN custom press (along with the steps), rather, clearly states you're showing viewers how YOU went about making a custom press, and what that entailed and so forth. I may even go so far to suggest "How WE Made..." as just omitting the "How" may not be clear enough to viewers that this isn't a DIY guide. But that's just my opinion.
Despite having been somewhat misled, the history of aeropress customization was very interesting and it was still a quality video👌. Plus the finished aeropress was nice, so there was that too.
How about a larger aero press 🥲
