I'd never heard Stonewall's A Little Guy Named Joe and I like it too! Two totally different songs that are SO similar.. Stonewall cut his May 2nd 1960 and ET cut his April 6th 1960.... I don't know which one was commercially available first but they had to be close to each other... Interesting factoid,,, Floyd Cramer played piano on both of them... I'd LOVE to know what was going on there.
