I think it´s super dumb that you can only join them if you play as Gith. You can even join them being a Ghaik (Ex-Gith)? Pfft. I romanced Lae´zel (not being Gith) and couldn´t join. Normally I would absolutely do so, hello? Makes no sense. Lae´zel overturned so many prejudices regarding other species...but I can´t join her in their fight? Lame.
I mean it does suck, but I like how there’s a unique ending option for the race. I’d love to see unique endings for all races, even if it’s just a little different.
@@amethyeet Yes I agree. Little differences, absolutely. Love that about the game, in most parts it is very thoughtful about that . But that one here just doesn´t make any sense. i hope the´ll give other options in a future patch.
Stay mad istik
To top it off, after watching the love of your life ride off on her shiney new dragon, the narrator lays out your options. You can choose to either continue living, eating brains as you slowly lose your identity, or you can end yourself. I chose the later. Then there's the cut scene where withers reminds everyone that ilithids have no soul, so my Tav didn't even "go to a better place". She just ceased to exist. Most brutal ending ever. lol
