Tricky unveils brand new material in the form of 'The Only Way', an orchestrated soul-barer with more than a nod to his 'Maxinquaye' era and featuring his own trademark vocals taking centre-stage over a smoke-filled melodic backdrop.
Recorded in Moscow late last year and described by Tricky himself as "Hell Is Round The Corner Part 2", “The Only Way” is a beautifully rare glimpse into the now Berlin-based Tricky’s future, out now on his own label imprint False Idols (via !K7 Music).

I'm not gonna do it, but like... Go to a shopping center and ask 100 people if they know of him or his music. Then ask about, um, say Justin Beiber. Jay Z. Tricky is a fine wine. Not everyone knows of any. I can't say that I do. That's all I was saying. He doesn't, in my opinion, achieve the wide-spread recognition that I think his music deserves. I'm an old head. I've been down with him since the early 90s I guess.

He is a legendary, hidden gem. I've been a fan from the start, and that's what sets good music apart from crap - good music never gets old! e.g Maxinquaye (almost 30 Years) isn't out of fashion !

gorgeous song-- I've always found his voice to be so intimate and haunting. Matches his music so much better than when he uses a ' guest ' vocalist sing every song. His duets are , for the most part , quite well done but I get so much more emotion when Tricky uses his own unique vocalisations in his amazing songs.
