This series is single-handedly the best basing tutorials I've ever seen. First came across your stuff from seeing Duncan Rhodes using some of your bits for rubble. Well, now I'm convinced, and this is going to be my theme for my new Conquest Undead army!

Oh man these are beautiful! Really nice job, I picked up these basing bits and the temple ones for some desert bases but I think I'm going to have to pick up those Turquoise tufts and give this a try with the left overs! :D
Are there any other tufts you guys would recommend from your range to replace the blood red ones? I love how the Alien Turquoise blends in. But the reds abit bright for my tasting. (I know its the theme you where going for to match the red in the marble) but yeah, just a little strong for my personal taste.
Do you think maybe using the 6mm Light brown and some Dark Moss tiny tufts could bring back a little realism but keep that haunted ghostly feel? :)

Hello! Thank you so much for your comment and feedback!
We understand all too well what you mean, many times we also want less vibrant colors. "Light brown (6mm)" would be a nice choice yes, and we could recommend the "Dry tufts (6mm)" for example (which are a bit more towards an orange), or even one of our favorites - the "Brown (4mm)" but in this case it depends on the overall contrast of colors you're aiming for!
      We hope this helps!
      Happy Hobbying!

@@GamersGrass Thanks so much for the reply I really appreciate it!! :)
Hopefully if anyone else was wondering this question they can see this too for some more ideas. ^^
I wasn't too familiar with he Brown 4mm tufts but I just gave them a little look on your site and they scream perfect fit!
I'm going to pick some of these up and give this a try for sure!! :D
      Thanks again! :)

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! You can use any blue wash, for example Drakenhof Nightshade from Citadel.

These bases look great, but I wouldn't call them crypt themed. Crypts are inside and underground. These bases have too much plant life, and the structures look more like what you would see outside in the wild. The theme here seems more like ancient jungle ruins.

      Hello! Thanks for your comment!
Yes! That could also work, like an ominous turquoise jungle!
The idea here was for a crypt inside a vast eerie cave network for example, where ominous and magical vegetation would grow, burying with the earth what remained of the underground structures :)
