You're making a great case for everyone to have a Pullmax in their garage. Being able to fix something when things go horribly wrong is what seperates the men from the boys. Most would have started over, but you stuck with it and the final product is impressive!
Bead first then brake, or brake then bead. No matter the sequence your work is always comes out killer. Thanks for the panel! I'll be sure to bring the truck by when its installed.
I was just sketching up some bed mods I want to do to my 82 C10. I will be bagging it and raising the bed floor. I wanted to do this exact thing or pretty close. I wanted a set of "hiddden" external battery terminals and shaved door switches in case of battery or remote failure. Loved the video, your work, presentation and attitude... Thanks for your time.
Interesting little project....great craftsmenship as usual...hate it when you think your done and they claim I told you thats what I wanted...🤨 be waitin for the next one....
As the late, great Clara Peller would have asked: “WHERE’s THE WELD”??? Not bad work…..for a beginner! Just imagine how good you’ll be when Shepard gets you “fully trained”??? I bet he’s proud of his dad being a quick learner!!👍 😁 😇
Travis I always like what you’re doing.... can’t wait to see how this panel comes out for the back of the Chevy pick up .....pconsidering you’re a Ford guy...... but whatever pays the bills!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hay the battery shut off switch with the jumper ports can you find out where he got it and put a link in the description greatly appreciate it junk man do
Morning Travis, wow, that panel ended up being a pain, you did a nice job, I have a hole punch tool just like yours, don't know if mine is alot older than yours??? Mine don't look as nice. Anyway, be safe!! God Bless!!!
So glad to see that you got a hand punch....I'm sure you will enjoy it. Wouldn't it had Been easier to do the beading in the Pullmax? You may have had to make a die set but it seems to me that time would have saved all the metal finishing at the end.
I wanted too but didn’t have the dies for it and it wasn’t the kind of job to make some for. And I also don’t have a fence for the pullmax yet and freehanding beads is impossible on the pullmax lol
SO I'm pretty sure that if your wife asked you to make two four-inch "L" brackets to hang a small shelf in the kitchen.... You would make a new set of dies for your PullMax to bend a simple 1" wide piece of flat stock. Rather than just clamp them in the vise and beat 'em with a hammer! LOL
BTW, you added offsets to that panel not beads. Beads are raised lines what you did was offset a section of the panel. You know what you're doing just not what it's called. Nice work though!

Thanks brother! Yeah I almost scrapped it at one point 😂
Another awesome fab job !!!! The detail in your work is amazing ...Great job
I'm sure he will be happy with the finished product, looks great!
If he complains, we will come explain it to him!

Doesn't even need painted.. Just on there!!!

You are a great fabricator , and thanks for your service.
Thank you but I was not in the service. You can thank my uncles for their service. I just got a hat out of the deal.
Well , at least you support us old vets. Retired USN
@@randyellis3116 thank you for your service!
Great job Travis!
"Quick little job". LOL, what's a big job? 😅 You do great work
Thanks for sharing!
Great Work !!!!!
Fine job!
Looks excellent
If you do much bead rolling, I highly recommend the Eastwood drive motor. It’s expensive, but I can’t see myself rolling straight lines without it.

Thanks yeah it was tough. My punch is from the 60’s just wasn’t used much at all.

It would have but I don’t have a fence for the pullmax yet and it is almost impossible to freehand beads on a reciprocating machine
Yeah, that makes sense.. next video "How to make fence for a Pullmax"...lol
Travis Great job that panal came out awesome. Thank you for your Service what did you do in the NAV.
Thank you! Save your thanks for my uncles, I just represent!
Great job ! Truly got some skills. What gauge metal did you use?
Thanks, I used 18g
👍🏻
I thought you would have used the pullmax to bead that

Ford, Chevy, car, truck….. the pullmax doesn’t mind. It’s all sheet metal

Oh yeah. Love your videos, and hey, it's almost Spring. Time to do a little more on that Shoebox you have parked outside :)
Oh I know it’s staring me in the face!
