I see people saying this wasn't exactly the most entertaining episode. I was trying a different style and I suppose it wasn't a hit. Next episode will be back to normal stuff. Thanks
Do It With Dan it was fine it’s just nice to see progress with the Magna, people just want a build series to be quick so they don’t have to wait because they’re impatient just keep doing what you want to do.
Honestly, Dan, you may not see this comment, but I gotta say that I am so proud of you for finally taking the time to give this bike the love it deserves. You the man!
I have such a love/hate relationship with polishing aluminum. And I may be wrong, but I think you can get rid of that clear coat on the triple tree with some aircraft paint stripper. Might be worth a shot if you really don't wanna powdercoat it.
That’s an impressive mirror chrome finish man! The bike looks great, I’m rebuilding my Kawasaki Vulcan en500c right now and I’m using this method bro! I dropped Vulcan 750 forks in it, risers, new bars and used the headlight off a magna for the front, and eliminated the front fender. Love your bike bro! Ride on!
I see a lot of comments telling Dan he should do this or that. But I can honestly say that it doesn't matter what kind of video Dan makes, chances are pretty solid that I'll tune in. Dan has an entertaining personality so anything remotely interesting, Dan could probably turn out a good video about.
Looking fucking cleannnnnn my dude. I can't wait for this bike to be back and better than ever. Don't sell it. This is your bike. Your piece of history.
What kind of exhaust is on the Magna I remember you saying what it was in a video back in the day but can't find it for the life of me. Got a Magna of my own that's the same year. Would love to have a similar sound out of mine.
im rebuilding a vulcan vn500 into a bobber at the moment and i gotta say your bikes designs are pretty amazings. Im inspiring myself a lot from the warhorse and your magna. Keep on the good work man!
Video log: -Dan cleans white walls -He polished chrome bits -Decides to powder coat fork crown -Cleans frame -Polishes motor and exhaust -Cleans wheels and brake drum -Drops off tank for painting
Dan if you’re looking for a great cleaner to keep that chrome nice and shiny or for anything painted to have a nice clear look also with a built in wax: try out Plexus. It comes in a little blue and black can and costs like $20... but dude I’ve been detailing bikes for a couple years now and we can’t find anything that competes with Plexus. It just works on damn near everything and will make water bead up a reallllll nice!!!
Hey Dan how did you do the white Walls on the fagna? Are they on the tire when you got them, stick on, or the ones that slip on under the bead of the tire?
When you mentioned powder coating the front fork plate thing and said bronze, I imagined the whole bike being black and bronze with white wall tires, and I think that would look awesome.
When youre don't with cleaning up that wanna clean mine? Lol love your videos i subscribed to your new channel im excited man cant wait for new vids on both channels now
Your triple clamp is clear anodized and that's what is peeling so next time you'd have to take it to an anodized and have them de-anodize the piece first to get that coating off, then you can easily polish it after.
When you said bronze on the triple I was thinking that would be pretty sick and unique than just black. Especially after what you said in the last episode, how all black wasn't exactly what you were going for since it's cool yet boring (overdone). Bronze, even semi-glossed, I would match the polished controls pretty good I think. Just an opinion. I also enjoyed this episode, I didn't find it unentertaining at all. Just keep up the good work and keep on dude!
There’s a Honda magna 750 for sale for 600 obo in my area. As soon as I saw it I fell in love but unfortunately I don’t have the funds or quite honestly the skill to build it up to a bobber. But hey, your manga series is somewhat satisfying it for me lol. Keep up the good work man, that’s a beautiful bike.
Shiiiit id be taking out a loan, i miss my magna. Had a 97, ended up laying it down and never had the money to fix it so i sold mine. Still regret that.
Faitaza I trust that. Hardtail is what I’d be after. It comes down to a couple things such as knowledge, a place to work on it, and last but not least the coin to make it happen. My brother and pops offered to help me but it all seems so far out of reach for now

Hey Dan! Just a recommendation, can you show us the part before you start polishing it? Like show it to the camera then go at it. Then show us the end result?
I want a magna so bad I live in Indiana for a decent magna I'm looking around 3 to 5000$ for one and I just can seem to put the money together for one at least I can come watch your videos Dan and see a badass magna my dream bike can't wait to see the bike when it's done
This is just a suggestion and I imagine it would take a lot of time to do also but, as you're like cleaning and taking parts off and stuff could you like tell us what they are and what they do. Idk might be a good step up in quality but also quantity.

Honestly, Dan, you may not see this comment, but I gotta say that I am so proud of you for finally taking the time to give this bike the love it deserves. You the man!
You got to get some black magic bleach white for the white walls, and you hardly have to scrub them
On this episode of RubitwithDan. Watch Dan rub every inch of his bike while listening to background music lol. Looks great man.

Don't make the magna red, Dan. You know how much you can crash it which is why you should keep it black because:
*BLACK DON'T CRACK*
LeandrothekidRS who said he’s changing the color to red? Just cause the front end is red, doesn’t mean it will be.
I know he was joking. I wasn't serious
I believe the saying is actually "Blacks do crack"
If he paints it black it’ll run faster
The cleaning before & after was quite satisfying
Hey, I just wanted to say that I appreciate the boarders of the video being perfectly fit for me to “zoom to fill” my screen!
Love the jacket! !! DBZ for life !!
Anyone else remember "minimal effort"
Yeah it's funny how much that dude looks like Dan lol
Well it is fitting for the name
I finally unsubbed from it, no new videos in how long? a year something...
I seriously feel asleep while watching this only to wake up and watch it again.....I liked it
Daddy Dan brought the MAGNAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
Dan, send that engine to an engine shop and get that thing rebuilt! The Magna deserves it!! Full race build would be amazing.
Nice vid dan🤟🏻🤟🏻🇺🇸

I'm glad to see you finally working on the Magna again!
Your bike is all clean!! CLEAN BIKE!!!!!
I see a lot of comments telling Dan he should do this or that. But I can honestly say that it doesn't matter what kind of video Dan makes, chances are pretty solid that I'll tune in. Fairing looks amazing. Do it!!!
rebuilding those carbs is pretty easy and syncing them is even more fun...please do an episode on that!!
What kind of exhaust is on the Magna I remember you saying what it was in a video back in the day but can't find it for the life of me. Got a Magna of my own that's the same year. Would love to have a similar sound out of mine.
I don't remember the name. They were on the bike when I got them. But I removed the baffles
Ah okay. I appreciate the reply. Look forward to seeing the Magna back to its former glory. Keep up the good work man.
Love the subtle jab at the mechanics 😂😂
im rebuilding a vulcan vn500 into a bobber at the moment and i gotta say your bikes designs are pretty amazings. Im inspiring myself a lot from the warhorse and your magna. Keep on the good work man!

It might be a little late but I think if you paint the gas tank silver with blue stripes. Make it badass but also simple
Dan an SOS pad works like magic on white walls!

Can anyone tell me what pipes he uses on his Magna? It sounds so sick and I wanna do something similar with mine. Thanks!
I can't believe that I got to watch Dan polish his pipe without getting a restraining order.

Cant wait for the first ride video after the Magna is done , Danny will be so hyped up and crazy revvin it to 11000rpm 😀😀😎
You should do more forging on the channel. Especially live streams. More content the better!

honestly if you dont want a hardtail or wanna change anything mechanicly it's not that hard to build a bobber
Faitaza I trust that. Hardtail is what I’d be after. It comes down to a couple things such as knowledge, a place to work on it, and last but not least the coin to make it happen. My brother and pops offered to help me but it all seems so far out of reach for now
MAGNAAAAAS
ZZR 600 is the sister model to the ZX6R. Kinda like the YZF600r vs the YZFR6. Basically, when they made the 636 in 05 and 06, they kept the 599 cc engine in order to qualify for racing (have to sell x amount of bikes) and not get bumped out of the 600cc class.
Hey buddy, for the white walls try a magic eraser or steel wool.
Omeba playing in the background. I like it
12:58 those looked like zx9r front fairings
Dan what kind of helmet do you have?
On today's timelapse we have something something motorcycle
Wut about that rear brake did u ever fix it ?
Basically yes. Just need to tweak some and adjust the give.
lil' danny be looking buff
Dan you mad a rebar knife next you should make a clutch lever out of rebar for the magna
This is just a suggestion and I imagine it would take a lot of time to do also but, as you're like cleaning and taking parts off and stuff could you like tell us what they are and what they do. Idk might be a good step up in quality but also quantity.
Weird question, but what boots are you wearing? Looking for something quality to wear on the job
Dan get bleche-wite, best thing since sliced bread for cleaning white walls
Weres the h2?. Glad to see the white walls white again
Haven't seen any comments about it, but you should 100% ceramic coat those white walls!
Is that Ronald Jenkees during the buffing portion?
