Amazing sculpture, as always! I love how "imperfections" in the wood like the crack are highlighted rather than hidden, it makes the sculpture feel like it's at peace with nature, not fighting it. It also adds a lot of interest to the piece, and makes it more unique.
Another beautiful, living piece, and yes the deep groove at the back was a great idea, and does break up the form dynamically. Your carving videos are one of the few I watch from start to finish, rather than skipping parts, they're really interesting. Well done
I love the oiling part. Besides satisfying to the eye, it make me happy to see you have reached the top of the mountain and can, finally get you're deserved rest.
Youre falcon came out buetiful. By making the head of the falcon made it so you could add alot more details which is really cool. The best thing about youre woodcarvings is that you have not only made it youre passion. You also were able to show youre passion to the world for everyone to see. That's what will keep you going.

Just to reiterate what all other commenters on here this is amazing craftsmanship and I can see a successful career in ur art. Ur efforts will pay dividends for rest of your life
Your talent is awe inspiring. The way you incorporated the bow ties into the sculpture worked well and sets you apart from others. Hopefully you will consider incorporating, as needed, in the future and maybe even embracing them as a feature. The symbolism that can be found in having something large being held together by a couple of small pieces resonates deeply with me. Using a different type of wood for the bow ties could help with the overall design as well.
You talk about taking all of the cut-offs and gluing them together, and making a carving. And since you will have a bunch of different types of wood, you should carve a duckbill platypus. Since it looks like a bunch of leftover parts
Dear Jonas, thank you for all your exquisite work. It is a true pleasure to see your sculptures blossom and to witness your art journey. You have a quality and brilliant character, thank you for sharing your sincere thoughts and experiences. You are a true inspiration and I wish you the best in life. Wow!! Beautiful. The way you lined up the crack from the head to between the wings!! Bravo! My last name means Little Hawk! Could you please make one taking off sideways? Plus we have magnificent Wedged Tail Eagles here in Australia that would suit a sculpture made of walnut because of the colour of the eagles! I looked on your sales page and you're selling is going so well! Good luck and bless you 🙏💪❤️🇦🇺🤗
I love how is looks like wind wisps, very good pick for a falcon. Turning imperfections in the wood into part of the sculpture is very impressive. Amazing piece as always 👍
Hey Mr. Jonas; yayyy so happy for a new video. I would like to say first that, when you go through stress in life, then being creative is the best way to make feel better and so sorry to hear that you have to go through stress but believe in tomorrow, the sun rises and so will the stress also go away one day. Now to your sculpture, wowwwwww again such a stunning sculpture, the black base is perfect and perfect size for it and the steel is perfect for it too. You did it again, a majestical sculpture and I say it again, like I said in the beginning, I know you can do it, I have faith in you.
Enjoyed the video! It’s amazing how black walnut always gives such satisfying look after sanding and oiling. It’s another great piece in the collection!
Absolutely beautiful! Your artwork has inspired me to start carving myself... Not on the scale you are doing, but I am fighting severe arthritis in my hands and at times need to stop myself from carving because of the pain and inflammation, but I won't stop because it also helps me to fight stress and depression.
Hi Jonas! I probably won't be too unique in my question. I've been watching your channel for a very long time and I admire your work every time. Is it possible to get a couple of your sketches, I dream of hanging them in frames at home. Your style is unique :) Thanks for the content!
