It's interesting that you mentioned that Jerry Hogarth acts like a cocky man because in the comics, Hogarth IS a man named Jeryn. And I'm glad they've made this change because Jerry is so much more interesting than your typical self-serving man in power, and especially thanks to the amazing portrayal by Carrie Anne Moss (she was Aria in Mass Effect series if you didn't know).
It's not that Jessica is an unnamed character in the comics. She's named Jessica Jones in the comics, but it was later retconned that a previously unnamed character from an old Spider-Man comic was also Jessica. Dots connected after the fact.
The thing to remember about the sex scene is that in the first episode, they were both holding back, trying not to hurt each other. Once they realize the truth, they now know they can really let loose without worrying about it.

You get the fact that Jessica didn't want Trish to insult Killgrave because she was afraid of his retaliation right? It wasn't that she didnt agree with her.
At the end when you were talking about Simpson choking her rather than using a gun, I think you missed that he tried to use his gun as soon as he got inside but Trish managed to knock it away and force him into hand-to-hand combat by taking him by surprise. It was stated when Killgrave gives an order it's an all-consuming need so when he got the upper hand on her, he gave no thought to trying to find his gun and tried to kill her with his bare hands. Although he did tell Jess that he had Special Forces training, so it is kinda a bit of plot armor for Trish that he didn't instantly snap her neck before Jess had a chance to do anything...
I think you are being very naive at 49:35, but you'll see. Also know that in the comics Jerry is a guy, so everything that you cited about her character being a "playboy", etc... comes directly from "Alias" the comic, who they then changed into a lesbian woman for the show. But yeah, I like it too. :) Anyway, thanks for the this video and what you share in general! ^^
