Did you have to walk like a ninja to get such smooth video or was it just normal walking as this came does not have z axis stabilization

When it rained so much, iP 15 worked like a charm. For night trips or when you expect stabilised video (walking, etc), P3 is another companion. Both complement my day in their different ways.
The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 looks like a great little travel companion. I currently have a nine-year-old SONY RX100M3 which I rarely use now because my 14 Pro is more capable especially with video than the RX. I thought my 14 Pro would be enough for my photography and video needs for a trip to Europe next year, but now I’m wondering if I should buy a Pocket 3. Low light performance and stabilization beats my 14 Pro and probably the 15 Pro as well. You definitely can’t beat a one-inch sensor or the built-in gimbal.
The images look quite good, but in low light they cannot be seen as sharp as on my rx100m6, with a one inch sensor I find the image lacks cleanliness, but it certainly looks much better than my gopro10

Nice camera
Best camera of the year for content creation. If only they made a weather sealed version! Don't think you can with a gimbal but if they could figure that out it would lights out for any other vlogging camera.
I want it to be waterproof! It seems like there was a waterproof gimbal for GoPro back in the day🤔
It should be ok except in bad rain. My pocket 2 survives gentle rain without any problems, many times in two years.
The low light settings footage look fantastic. I will definitely be putting those settings in one of the presets.👍

Basically, in normal video mode and low light mode, the ISO sensitivity is set to auto. In the case of Log, you should look at the screen and lower the ISO sensitivity.

I'm amazed how smooth the movement is on some of the non-timelapse shots - were you on a bicycle or something to avoid up/down movement of walking?
I walk normally, being careful with my hand so that the gimbal doesn't move up or down!

Wow, l like they night shuts so clean in terms of grains when there are some light,totally usable in D-log M. It’s definitely 💯 good for a normal use and color grade the hole thing and you are ready to go. It kind of sit in between a Mobil camera and desiccated Vlog camera. I used my Fuji film 100F for a lot of 1080p stuff with a 24mm lens hack, my travel camera 📷 wished it had stabilization. I’m seriously thinking of getting the pocket 3 based on what I seen,in terms of what you can do with this camera in video capturing. 👍 big thumbs

Night shots:
Video mode when there is plenty of white lights but it look to digital, probably more for daylight use and and say high frame rates, slow motion
Pro mode for the filmic look and plenty of white lights and colors, definitely the best day runner
Lowlight what a beast definitely for vivid colors and yes lowlight. Definitely up there with Jif and Skippy

thank you! Fireworks are real! Photographed with Pocket3. Vertical shaking occurs when you walk normally. That's because the gimbal is small. Therefore, I walk normally while being careful with my hand so that the gimbal doesn't move up or down!

Kobe is one of the best places for low light test. When you mentioned in the video "no edit", do you mean 'normal colour" and not D-Log M or HLG? I like your low light mode and no edit scene best. Which one do you prefer?

Cant believe you can get all these features and quality in a fairly priced device. Im used to things being so overpriced and doesn't even perforrm as well
All the flagship smartphones can already do all this and more because of the various focal lengths they can shoot in.
Waste of a DJI release, it should have had the Mavic 3 Pro cameras, now we still need to walk around with the Mavic 3 in functions. Remember Osmo 1 came with DJI Inspire 1 Camera, that's what we looking for in the picket series,. that being the top of the range drone cameras in a non-drone form factor.

i can't imagine how powerful DJI will be in the next 3years,. i feel they will be dominating the whole video industry in wedding and small film makers,.
imagine if DJI decided to make FULL FRAME SENOSR,. and also attachable lenses by magnet only,. Sony, Canon, Nikon will be out of business,. they will have the same fate of Kodak,.

Do you use tilt lock for most of your walking footage?
D-log M is definitely better, there is no comparison. It seems like another camera. I would never use any other color profile
Which software would you use to then colour grade? I am very new to all of this and when I say new, just literally bought the camera. I want to take a go at recording everything in dlog m then edit but there is the fear that I create some nice footage and when I try colour grading it won't turn out as nice as some of the auto recorded videos I've taken. I have access to Adobe Premiere Pro and another piece of software (I forget the name)

Default settings for sharpness and noise reduction.
Please compare Pocket 3 with ZV1 and Action 4.
ZV1 will be much better, Much larger sensor and way better optics. It won't be close. A ZV1 with a GM lens will crush this in every way.
Im so confused, literally the last channel i watched specified how difficult it is to get the settings right in low light.😮😮😮😮
Would you suggest the use of ND filters for the pocket 3 while filming in day light?
Yes, it really blows the light when not enough contrast is there with a grey sky for instance.
Can I ask you which image quality do you prefer between pocket 3 and zv1, since you have tried both?

Overall it's a Pocket3. The sensor size is large and handles well even in low light conditions. The Action 4 is an action camera, so it has strengths in intense movement and bad weather.

The ISO sensitivity in low light mode was taken with the default setting of 50 to 16000 in auto setting.

Little suggestion. Some of this looks a little overexposed. Its an easy mistake to make. Keep the highlights, let the dark's be dark. No point blowing highlights to make black just a little greyer.
I haven't edited that, but I'll try tightening up the black a little more! thank you!👌
