Epilation results last longer than waxing (over a month for me). But it's extremely painful. It feels like slow death 🙄 the sensation of getting hair pulled off is really weird (in addition to painful) Sometimes you have to go over and over the same body part to get it all out and bear the weird sensation of the blade rolling over your skin. I could sit through epilating hands and legs. But underarms is a whole different deal. I have to give up in a few seconds. Wishing for a world where body hair is acceptable. Wishing for a world rid of beauty standards. Yes. Change begins with me.
Hey Reenu, thanks for sharing your experience with us! Yes, we agree that the pain is there. It depends on each individual and their ability to take the pain. -Team Glamrs
That is a beautiful message ❤ unfortunately, social norms tell us to get rid of our body hair. I strongly disagree with them... But I'm not strong enough to go against them! I have accepted that about me 😭 But I'm still amazed by those who refuse to follow those rules! And I hope if you decide to keep epilating the pain goes away. I barely feel anything on my legs anymore. For the underarms, my tip is to roll a few time in the direction of the hair. My skin gets used to it but the hair isn't pulled out so it doesn't hurt, and then it hurts less when I finally epilate.
I have been craving for this video☺️ Actually I want to buy an epilator but my mom refuses it since it is expensive.. I will show this to my mom.. Thanks guys.. I will save pocket money and buy it.
I owned an epilator for 5 years now and took it out only because of the lockdown. Used it every where and very happy with the wax like results. It's a lil time consuming but works wonder
Epilating and waxing are the same pain level for me but epilating is a longer duration of pain. Either you rip the bandaid off slowly or fast its still going to have some sort of pain! Love both methods of removing hair however , I have a high pain tolerance!

I would like to advice those who want to buy epilators, it's a wonderful tool but do check your pain threshold. If you find waxing or threading extremely painful don't buy this as it is an investment. If you want to know whether you can tolerate the pain , try threading your hands or legs. If you can tolerate it,then go for it. Also pain varies from one area to another. So also check that before buying. It is very nice if you can tolerate the pain, handy, portable and easy to use. No mess too and long term effects! Thank you GLAMRS for covering this topic!
@@samameer3099 I will suggest not to use epilator if you can't tolerate threading. Trimmers are very nice but most just give you a trim not a shave. you can try electronic shavers if you like, they are also portable and absolutely painless, it's just that you just get 2-5 days of smooth skin.

In waxing you can remove the hair in one go.. but with epilator you have to remove it one by one.. with waxing, it's someone else removing the hair for u. So they won't stop even if u feel painful. But with epilator since it's me who is removing the hair, that too very slowly.. I mostly stop half way ...
I bought this same epilator in Dec 2015 and I use it till date however I don't use it on regular basis. I use only in emergency situation. Well it hurts for sure but it has 2 removable tweezer in it. One they showed in video it hurts I mean really hurts ( I can't bear more than 10sec ) but other one - gental tweezer it doesn't hurt at all. I have always used gental one. It does similar work for me.

Hi there, Epilators are best for larger areas with tough skin, such as the arms and legs. Technically, it can be used on more sensitive areas of the body, such as the bikini area, face, and underarms, but it might hurt a little more, depending on your pain tolerance. In fact, epilating works best when armpit hair length is shorter so that the tweezers can grip and remove hairs more precisely. You'll also find that epilating armpits is faster and less painful this way. - Team Glamrs

I have one question we can use it in every part of our body like under arms? Thank you
Hi there, Epilators are best for larger areas with tough skin, such as the arms and legs.
