I had my two close like that & did it all by myself, my husband got no time off & worked night shift & slept during the day, that was some pretty rough times! I know you get so sick of hearing me say this but I so wish you’d move back to Utah to be around family especially girls need their momma’s & sisters! Keep enjoying yourselves! Britt you are right the altitude does effect how things rise and also the humidity it effects the air in the flour the yeast and raising agents work differently but they still looked ok xxx

The altitude definitely makes a difference!!! When I moved from Northern Utah to Mesquite NV it was loke I had to learn how to cook all over again!!! God Bless!!!
Altitude and humidity does make a huge difference! I moved to Florida from N. Y. and couldn’t bake my bread! Now I can but it took awhile. 😎🙏💕
The temperature, dryness/moistness in the air etc has a roll in how the dough rises. Brit you are used to the weathercondition in Florida and as you said in this vlog, it's alot dryer air in Utah...so therefor the buns don't rise in the same way. It's a fact.❤
Hey for BABY LEMMON, PICK UP Mylicon drops, over the counter, at the pharmacy, #1 Pediatrician recommended, can be used at every feeding up to 12 per day. Fabulous for gas!!! (Worked in ob, gyn, and pediatrics) About the crying, if bottle fed, pick up a less iron or no iron formula and feed for a couple days. Newborns are born with adequate iron and a formula with additional iron will often give a painful belly. Just some things to consider. Much love to the new parents. 💕
Vaseline or Gold Bond should help with the crack hills. It works with me pretty well.

Altitude makes a huge difference in baking. I live a mile up down in Ephraim (that was a weird sentence), and I always have to adjust recipes because of the altitude.
I am glad you guys are having fun with the the both family. We just lost my husband mother I have really busy. With my husband and his sister. And getting settled. With his mother things.

Some mamas are lucky to have babies that sleep through the night. Unfortunately with my last one I didn't sleep through the night for 2 years. All babies are precious and need sleep, food, diaper changes, love and cuddles. I'm so glad you're both there to help with easing the new baby into the family. They really need you and appreciate the help, you guys are the best!

Weather actually really does play a big part in how things that rise turn out! I've worked in bakeries over 15 years and it's crazy how the weather affects the rising process!
You guys are so cute together. Love watching you and Finn. I can give you a tip on cutting your cinnamon rolls, use dental floss instead of a knife. It cuts them so much better than a knife.

It could be due to the weather might be colder, as you need it warm to have the dough rise. But I’m sure they tasted just as good
Altitude does make a difference. My dad started baking when we lived in Colorado and it was very good when we moved back to North Carolina nothing that he baked turned out right.
My brother and his wife live in our basement apartment and their baby will turn 2 months on June 6. I’ve been helping them a lot the last couple of months especially with midnight feedings and holding him so they can get some sleep. Sleep deprivation is no joke with a newborn
