Having tremendous fun with the first 5 TipTop Buchla modules and later on add the 292t Quad Lopass Gate Model \0/ Never thought I would be able to have buchla sound in my studio. Thanks Lorenzo, Piero and Gur \0/ C U at SB 2023...
It's so great that TipTop is the company doing this project. I'm sure they will hit it out of the park and if I were into West Coast, I wouldn't be able to get this system fast enough. Very nice.
It's all cheap enough that I'm filling a Mantis case just to have it. As far as sample fodder goes it doesn't really get better than a Buchla too. This was unattainable stuff for basically ever and now it's standard Euro prices with TipTop quality and that look. Oh mama.
Yes, I've seen it on your youtube channel. Selong some Buchla users, Tip Top Buchla doesn"t sound like the real Model 258 and LPG 292 missing the body. What's your opinion ?
want, can't wait, not got anything remotely 'west coast' and don't care - want these for their looks, their sound and to see what they do when mixed with my other gear.... lovely
03:20 reminds me of the moomins..... the felt animated version from the 70’s, not the cartoon.... I’m already sold on this..... can’t wait to get my hands on these modules! 😃🤘🤘
the advantage of pre configured system is COHERENCE, at least between voltages, panel is another , and coherence between the choice of modules , no one is forcing you to buy the entire system by the way...
cool modules but I think I was more excited to see the nylon screws... im still stumped why more people dont switch to these.. for less than the cost of a bag of washers you cant get enough to do your whole system and never futz with it again.. .
Wow, very impressive. It captures the essence of the 200 series so incredibly well. Would really love to hear a classic Buchla bongo patch (LPG triggered with super short transients). I consider Sputnik Quad LPG to be the closest one to 292 in euro. I don't know why but I even prefer it to my Music Easel bongo. If 292t nails it I'm very excited.
thanks for the demo! sound quality is much better than previous demos from the trade fairs but the time spent on each module is a little short!? hopefully we will see a more extensive review soon. where can i get more detailed info on these modules? i have a few buchlaesque doepfer modules, a-101 lpg, and the a-149-1/2, also a befaco rampage and i'm wondering how much extra these tip-tops will add. so far the voltage processor looks the most intriguing.
I dont understand the sequencer. Is it a quad sequencer with 5 steps pr sequencer? Is there any way to know which note you are playing without using other modules.
Wow, this is amazing, really interested to see where the price ends up. I will say the 292 doesn't sound exactly like its 4u cousins(recently built a 292r with vintage vactrols)
Imagine how good this video could be if it were instructive, or at the least descriptive of the functionality of the modules for those who are unfamiliar.
Well, 2 years later and they've released even more gems from the Buchla line, these modules are already cherished and flying, and the whole system can be had for ~$2500 - even less on the aftermarket (Mantis case included).
Fantastic demonstration. Finally, real music!
I’ll buy the complete system. Period.
Big same!
Hell yeah, brother.
Yep.
Same goes for me, so juicy sound 😃🌞❤

I hear the Bucha spirit in those modules, so fantastic!
The patch at 2:11 morphing into the part at 2:43 is too cool.
I had a lovely 200 system in the 90's (and a 300) This will probably scratch that itch!

@@crappie050764 I'll have to try it out tbh. LPG are tricky to get right. Components are probably less dependable now.
Unfortunatly, there is still no Buchla modules available in 2022 of july.
It's sad, it look really cool.
yeah it looks like theey are out of stock in a lot of places, that is for sure. It is a hard time to be building technology.
super complete and efficient visualization of the whole +++
Brilliant. Can't wait to build a dedicated Buchla eurorack case. Already planning out on MG.
want, can't wait, not got anything remotely 'west coast' and don't care - want these for their looks, their sound and to see what they do when mixed with my other gear.... lovely
ugh, so good. guess will have to plan a buchla system now

I'm beyond excited about all of this!
Excellent demo of the power of this system.
It gets into Autechre territory, I absolutely love this.
So cool!!
3:20 *GREAT SCOTT*
Can't help dreaming of a 259T
super! the reverb is?
great demo. hope i get the modules in germany
A thing of beauty, thanks for sharing.
This is my new favorite song
Completely awesome
Dude, I dont like pre-configured systems but this is so freaking insane, best by far, made me need it!

I am so happy that behringer didn’t get their greedy hands on this project.
I'm stoked
Is there digital delay added on all of the raw sounds? Just curious from the "demo" perspective
I also want to know. I get frustrated when someone demos a product and doesn’t reveal the Fx.

sounds Buchly...👍🏻
Joder! Impresionante!
😍nice!

bongo?
@@theh0r5e90 Yeah, Buchla bongo is a classic patch which can only be properly realised with a low pass gate. 292 is THE lpg for this type of sound.

I don't think Buchlas are really meant to be understood lol
yes please
So so so so so so want!!!!
i want it sooo baaaadddd !

Glad you could use this as your excuse to let everyone knowd about your 'recently build' & the subtle vastness of your mastered taste in modules

I want that lpg.
Dam son I've got 99 problems and having a Buchla ain't 1!
So what size case do I need to buy for the whole collection?
...inspiring \0/
What reverb was used on these demos?
I think someone said it was Hilfiger by Rick Ridindong
I must confess that I find the 257t scary and incomprehensible- but I’ll probably end up buying one anyway…
How much €?
How to start with buchla? Can’t buy all at once
Interesting...thx 🎼

Time to sell the current system
I mean seriously.. Einstein? Can we put Buchla in that spot instead?
Imagine how good this video could be if it were instructive, or at the least descriptive of the functionality of the modules for those who are unfamiliar.
Imagine if they made more than one video? Pretty sure that’ll happen.

Wow, thats for the real nerds. Wonder if there is really enough demand for such a niche product, a case full of those wont be much under 4 K.
You could post that first sentence about any video about eurorack or guitars with more than six strings.
Actually, most of the modules are going to be around $200 US dollars

nice but i'll stick with my all buchla 200e---nothing like it in all creation..........
This corolla is nice but I'll stick with my millennium falcon lol
