Right?? That riff is about better than most of the songs on his new album...and several of the last ones. Also he's evidently prohibited from playing solos cuz somebody decided at some point in the 2000s it might not be cool anymore...or some such bs.

Can’t believe how many people are claiming to be so into metal and commenting that they had no clue John had this much talent!! The guy is one of the best!
To be fair, he performed with two of the most iconic frontmen of the past 30 years. They kind of pull focus.

@@therockman89 I love Manson but have tried with Zombie, I just can't get into the albums overall when comparing to Mansons. But nonetheless, with Ginger Fish And John 5 being in Zombie, I'll always give them a listen. John 5 is incredible

I remember John 5 being with Marilyn Manson's band then he went on to play guitar for Rob Zombie's band. Glad to see he is doin his own solo music. Only thing that I'm not use to is no one is singing any lyrics. But i don't care, I have a open mind to try to listen to music without someone singing. keep rockin and rollin John 5!
In my opinion the most versatile guitarist in the Rock business. I thought Gary Moore was that guy, but when I saw J5 in the creatures at The birchmere I was f****** blown away. J5 Makes it look so easy, in that neck bar you use so frequently......boy you got to have strength in that hand

This particular music broke free the idea that John 5 is on the level possibly beyond that of Petrucci,Vai,Satriani,Govan any of the greatest John 5 can contend with them. What a great composition bro this kicks ass just like everything you do,kinda Bucketheadish stylistically but who tf doesn't love that. Shred that shit man hope to see more of your unique and and theatric presence,because it's needed and you are loved and valued greatly especially amongst your fellow musicians and really bro on behalf of the entire planet earth I'm just gonna say right here you one of the GOATS,you payed your dues you've dealt with untold bullshit,you have contributed so much to the industry and will continue to inspire young musicians for generations to come. This music will be still be valid in 200 yrs if human kind even has that much time left.

Hey one of the great guitarists arpund today. I dont do lists but I saw him with MM at a dual billing with Orianthi and Alice Cooper. There were some guitars going off that night indeed. John Five is an excellent musician. He makes the Marilyn Manson Band go. All the big hits are him driving the things. His guitar . I consider him one of the very best players we have in Rock today. On any given day you could rank him #1. Lol who could argue? I enjoy his works.

I have a feeling we won't see it until next year's NAMM. I have a feeling there'll be a squire version since Goldie is no longer available, but a custom shop version would be incredible. Maybe they'll do both something like they did with Brent Mason's guitar and release different versions.

In 2017 when rob zombie came to Tucson, I was in the front row. At some point into the concert John 5 gave me his guitar pick and I almost dropped it over the rail because people were trying to grab it out of my hand. I was like 9 at the time but I was really happy that he gave it to me.
