I don’t have labels, however when I don’t feel like working on a project, I will get a couple of pieces of paper and do exactly what you did. Sometimes, I will adhere a full sticky label to the back of the papers and cut various label sizes from them. They do work nicely on envelopes or a project. Your demonstration should definitely help those starting out, like many of us back in the day. You are always so helpful, Ceri, to so many of us, so a big thank you to you!
I am a beginner by about six months and believe me I learn from you and other UA-camrs all the time. Thank you, don’t ever doubt you are teaching newbies.
This is another great video, Ceri! I am a beginner, so I’m glad that you repeat some things that you may have already said in other videos. Thank you for introducing me to PM Artist Studio. I have become a regular viewer.
These are awesome. I've seen your labels before but I love that I can do this without getting out my Gelli. They could be beautiful mailing labels too - especially if the addresses were visible. I make cards and other paper crafts and I can see them being used on a whole lot of the things I do.
I am always delighted when I see you have a new video. Love the labels you created. Such a great idea - mini art! Thank you, as always for the hints about keeping costs down.
Love how you made yours. I painted mine different colors then used all different sized round shapes to stamp on them. One sheet looks Christmasy. Thanks for sharing.
Ceri, you are absolutely MARVELOUS. Your voice and accent are so pleasing and your instructional style is perfect with explaining why you made artful decisions. I am going to do this project today. You are always an inspiration. I hope you realize how creative and wonderful you are!!!
Another great reminder. I used to do this with book pages. I do not have brayer or Gelliplate, so I was using brushes and all sort of mark making. Thank you for this video Ceri!
WOW! I have labels and was wondering what to do with them! I have everything this project needs! I love love it! Thanks for sharing Ceri! Hope your hand heals well soon! Greetings from Quebec Canada
I don't have labels or a jelly? gelly? plate, but want to thank you for taking the time to show us an alternative way to create labels. Yours look sensational. ❤
This is so helpful, Ceri! Thank you very much for showing this process. I don't have a the other tools, so this is awesome. I love how your labels turned out. Hope your wrist heals soon!! ❤
Thanks, Ceri. Sometimes, a quick one at the end of the day is just what the DR. Ordered. And better yet, if you don't need to clean up too much mess afterwards.
It’s a cold, rainy day… so I’m enjoying watching you on my TV while I fussy-cut some Tracey Fox sheets of labels. 😊 I use my gel printed labels to cover addresses etc when I reuse packaging. Thank you for another brilliant video. I have only recently discovered you and am working my way through your videos ❤
I love to watch your videos. Gorgeous colors you chose & combined. Thanks for sharing your process. Recently moved, cannot yet play with my things, and watching you is good therapy for me. Thank you so much.
Loved watching your process, Ceri. Inspiring. I've recently been experimenting with cheap glossy labels and found a way to successfully print on them with my inkjet. Your labels are stunning and I really want to play now. 😁 Belinda.
I’m not sure if you can get them in the U.K. But Huggies makes biodegradable baby wipes which is what I use. They are fairly inexpensive in the U.S., but not sure about Wales. I save mine after wiping up ink or paint and reuse them. 🥰
Wow. I never thought of doing either the "baby wipe" method or using labels to do this one. As a rank beginner, many thanks! I don't have a Gelli plate and I'm not going to get one, so this helps a lot; a keen way to create backgrounds even if not using sticky labels...(and I have a small roller sponge usually used for house painting tasks, unused, so I can see where I could employ that here, with a stencil or two as well - lots of ideas!)
Well I guess you really can teach an old dog new tricks! Me being the old dog😂 I love this idea! I usually mop off in a composition book but this is a much better idea! If it wasn’t 2:51 in the morning I’d go set it up in my craft room right now! But I guess I’ll have to wait til the sun comes up and I’m there! Thank you for this great idea! I love the white tile idea and will pick one of those up as well. ❤
Update: thank you for giving me something new to be addicted to! I’m loving making these and sticking them on the backs of envelopes. I marvel at each one and think to myself ‘I can’t believe how gorgeous this mini masterpiece turned out.’ Thank you again for the inspiration, ❤
Thank you for reminding me about this technique Ceri. I have loads of labels & business card sheets that I've gotten at Goodwill. Great mass-make project! Have a beautiful day!
Thanks for the video. This looks like fun! USA viewers who want to try this on a smaller scale: Dollar General sells small packs of labels...32 sheets with 4 labels on each. The labels are only 1" x 2.75" however, but perfect for creating smaller batches of each color combination.
Thank you Ceri. I wasn't feeling well today and was being a sluggish. After watching this I got out 4 sheets of labels and some paint. WIting for it to dry now before stamping yay❤😅 Thanks for the inspo and funk dissipation
Thank you so much Ceri for sharing this lovely idea 😘 the video is so relaxing and makes me wanting to do this right now 😄Have a beautiful day and take care 🤗
Great idea! Yesterday i filled a sheet of very light beige/yellow paper (similar to old book page) with a variety of small Celtic symbol stamps and it turned out well. I am hoping to print copies onto a sheet of stickers for using in a Celtic style journal and fussy cut some to use in collage. Im a journal making beginner, just finishe a art journal for myself by altering a used book and learned i should have made a wider spine! 🐊🌞. Thank you for all the great instruction! Hope you get sunshine there soon. ~ Debra L Pate Art
I love these!! As soon as I have the time, I will be making some 29:30 . I actually prefer this method over the gelli plate method. Thanks for sharing Ceri.
Thanks so much for showing this method, Ceri! I used your instructions to create my first ATCs on some precut to size cards which I have had for years. For the first time ever, I am going back to look at my work because I am so happy with the way it turned out and not because I was trying to figure out how to fix what was wrong. Thanks again!
Love this! I have been using business cards to do the same thing. I always think I messed them up, until I take them apart and they look great. Also you can use printer postcards and the business cards that can be folded (4x4). Enjoy your channel. And I sympathize with your wrist. I fell in Jan and my right wrist is still giving me problems when I do repetitive actions.
Hi Ceri! I do hope you are healing up everywhere. I know how those spills can make pain in the strangest places. I have broken bones only once but its often said that breaks hurt less than sprains over time and i would agree. Take care ❤
Hi Ceri. Thank you so much for another terrific tutorial. Looking forward to having some fun in the craft room tomorrow. Enjoy all of your videos. Take care and hope your hand mends soon. Best wishes from Canada.
Absolutely love this. Thanks so much Ceri. Was considering buying gelli plate etc to add to the rest of the stuff i NEEED. I can’t wait to get back to my craft room now. Love all of your videos. I’m new to all this and find your musings and explanations so helpful.
I haven’t seen this technique before so really appreciate you sharing! Can’t wait to try this, would have never thought to use a baby wipe, thanks Ceri!

A blank sheet of labels to a sheet of little art pieces! So fun! Thanks for showing us how to do this without a brayer. Great video! TFS
