Would love to see these compared the Buds Pro
The primary difference, based on the comparison chart on the Samsung site, appears to be form factor and IPX rating (Buds Pro are essentially waterproof)

@@eppsislike he literally says "they're pretty much the same." Looks like some additional adjustment on ANC for the pros. Definitely a solid review video though, thanks for mentioning it.
@@JoeArmstrongC4S True but you forget that he was not as excited about the sound and bass with the Buds 2 in comparison with the Pro which he ranked "A MAJOR, MAJOR GO!“ The Pro's are smashing it.
Less bass, less loud, and that is pretty much it
Really loving the designs of the new Samsung products, very clean and modern
The constant experimentation and consumer research definitely has paid off and still pays off. I think that Samsung has the most refined products and widest working ecosystem of any tech brand out there since 2015. They are amazing at product design.
I just want them to bring back the "wings" that help them stay in place even better

I had those on my original buds and loved them, found them so helpful! My AirPods Pro constantly fall out.
On top of that it seems like they sealed the ears so much better. The buds plus I have actually have better noise canceling by itself than the noise canceling mode on my pros
I still use my original galaxy buds, but without the wings. My ears seem to have very minimal profile (I just learned that with this buds) and the wings can’t hook to any part of the ear. But they still stay great in my ears!
IMO i think Samsung is releasing too many wireless earbuds, The Buds Live and Pro came out not too long ago and now it feels like Samsung is oversaturating their own Wireless Earbud line, making each product hard to standout
The live and Pro had horrible fit and even start hurting after a while so maybe they're trying to make up for it now. Imo the Buds + are still the best I've ever used
@@Sincerity1993 no they didn't.. The live are so comfortable you forget you have them on I've fell asleep with mine ok plenty because I forgot . Now the pro sound great but fit horrible and don't stay in
@@Sincerity1993 nope you'd be wrong plenty review state how comfortable they are .but you are right in a sense because everyone's ears are shaped different hence some say airpods don't fit their eats while others love the fit . Samsung hasn't made a sequel to lives yet theyre open buds NOT sealed like the buds pro and 2 , different product model. Sorry they didn't work for your ear shape but they work for lots of people ..I suspect we'll see a live sequel when they announce the next flagship

I heard many more people complaining about the buds pro but Samsung somewhat stuck to that design so unless we never see buds live 2 then idk man. Also I think most ppl hated on the lives because of their weak anc...other than that they are really good buds man . But all our ears are different so use what's better to you
Still prefer the original galaxy buds. Got them for free with my phone, they have the little rubber wings to help keep them in place while working out (never had one fall out in the years I've been using them) and the sound quality if perfect for my needs. They have a wireless charging case which has a nice feel, and the look is great. They don't look like a ball of wax in your ear.

I lowkey love the ambient sound makes it sound like I got super hearing 😂 it enhances it
I actually found myself using it to eavesdrop on people with my buds pro. Its awesome haha
I definitely use ambient sound more than ANC. It kinda sounds robotics at high and extra high but just alright at medium intensity and is very helpful when u need to be aware of ur surroundings

I really don't understand why they got rid of the wings. I upgraded from the Galaxy Buds to the Galaxy Pros and within a week returned them for the Galaxy Buds+ because the Pros kept falling out. Especially for someone who works out for hours at a time the Pros were almost useless and I'm assuming the Buds 2 will be as well.
For me the buds 2 stay in just as well as the regular buds

@@Newtoschool yes they did but only after having them on for lomg periods of time ear wax would come out and they'd slip

I agree. I've got the Pros the active noise cancelling doesn't do much, but the passive noise isolation is pretty solid.

They look very cool.. i wish tech came in more of a colour range... like their versions of the main colours; those olive are their green. They could do other cool looking versions of colors

I do stick with the Buds Pro. Sound on these are not as loud and bass-heavy.
In my opinion on the buds plus are still the best despite the fact they don't have anc but battery life is wayyy longer and fit better into the ear. Yes I have the pros also .
Which one do you recommend for call quality?
I'm a TRUCK DRIVER.
I got these at Verizon graphite color $48 because I returned a Razer kishi for gaming button fell off and discounts.
Buds2 are perfect for TRUCK DRIVING. I only wear one when driving or in shipping receiving area or fueling. My buddy truckers tell me they can't tell the difference they work as good or better than the Truckers headsets. I even stood in front of the motor noise open window wind and etc. You can't use both because Noise Cancelling is so good you can't hear the people talking to you even with music off. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FOR TRUCK DRIVERS or anybody looking for great call quality and the music is most definitely good. Super light you can't feel them but careful don't lose them. Battery ain't that good but with the case it works for my job. Plus I'm always close to a charger.
How's the fit and the bass compared to the buds plus?
A bit more powerful, but much more smooth and integrated to the other frequencies
The colors are very amazing

Ps when the Galaxy S22 is released you will most likely get a free pair of these if you preorder

How's the sound clarity and detail when listening a podcast???
I got these and the galaxy watch 4 for free with my S22 ultra but I ended up selling them both. I still have the original galaxy buds from 3 years ago and they still work great.
Im buying these simply because the pro's dont fit my ear at all. Shit just hurts at that point.

Especially if you got any sweat or water on them they would eventually slip out

But everything you said was legit and on point.. they are not as good as my Bose earbuds, but they are definitely getting used,, They sound great..and I only popped them in after I saw your review.. good stuff my dude,, liking and subscribing.. Hey, how's it's going because I really want to make sure I buy the right earbuds. My main concern is that they fall out? Is there anything that I should know before buying?
@@martyboi5609 if you have smaller ears they'll fall out pretty often even with the smaller tips but they're a good sound and they fit most of the time.

I have always had this idea of the Samsung earbuds to have like a slot for a micro sd card to like save music on ur earbuds when for example you don’t have ur phone if it’s like charging or something but yah I think it’s a really cool idea hopefully some big UA-camr sees this and talks about it would be really cool

I prefer galaxy buds live (kidney beans) as they are comfortable and rest well in my ears as never bean a fan of in ears silicone. 👂
honestly same! Even though other buds might sound better, the buds live have been the ones that fit best and STAY in my ear the best and longest. I love my buds live. I sometimes have them on for easily 17 hour work days. (one earbud on at a time and just change them out when it is about to die). They stay on so well and have a good battery life. Love them
I'm wondering if that was part of my problem (previously had Buds Pro) since I was so used to Airpods, but the Buds Pro were also just very bulky and fell out.

I have the buds 2 and they slide out all the time for me. I’ve tried all the tips and they still come out even when I’m just sitting or walking.

I bought galaxy Pro for 150$ and after 3 days of trying everything was just impossible to take the buds pro more than 20 minutes. My ears just hurts so much. So i called the shop after 3 days of they can give me the buds 2.
They agree to exchange but not give me the extra money because the buds 2 cost 100$.
In the end I exchange the buds pro for buds 2 and let me say I am super happy now. the fit is the most important thing. Also the sound quality was +- the same.

Good review - I bagged a pair with my Z Fold 3 and the starter kit. I have a pair of Buds live I got withy Note 20U but tempted to sell them both and bag a pair of Sony WF1000XM4's. Not a fan of rubber ear prices as I like to pop them in an out quickly as I work. This is where Airpods were always brilliant and allowed me to hear ambient sounds. The better the seal the harder it is for my usage.

Okay, I liked the Buds Live, but noticed when running ang getting sweat in my ears they sliped around so needed to correct them all the time. And I was a bit afraid they would get damaged by the sweat and there fore water damaged. So I have been thinking of getting the Pro instead of the Buds 2, but other reviews have also said these Buds 2 have a better fit. But will they withstand sweating aka sweatproof?
Thats what I've found about this - "Like last year's Galaxy Buds+, the Galaxy Buds 2 feature an IPX2 splash-resistant rating. This means the earbuds will be just fine for working out and a short stint in the rain. "
I'd go for the pros honestly. ANC, better sound and higher IP rating for only $20 more (at least where I live). You'd be crazy to let that slide just to save $20

In my personal opinion, idk why they made Galaxy Buds 2 when they already have the pros. Just make an upgrade to pros because the pros are the upgrade to the buds. At this point they made an upgrade to the upgrade to the upgraded upgrade LOL

@@omnipotato9231 Well depends on the tips you used and honestly everyone's ears are different. I can't wear any apple earbuds because they don't fit in my ear. So I understand, but in the grand scheme the pros are really good and u can buy different tips off Amazon.

Nice solid, clearly stated review . I would have preferred a little more input on the sound quality and overall volume (yeah, I know these can be adjusted by the app). Just a user's experience and impressions listening to different music, movies, etc.

I am one of HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of people who had a horrible allergic reaction to the galaxy buds pro. I'm hopeful that these buds 2 can solve this issue.
Got the buds 2 for free with my trade in. They took my Cracked note 10 and gave me a 22+ with $6 installment fee and with free buds 2. Not gnna complain

@@technologyisawesome6913 a little if you set it to bass boost but you sacrifice some clarity. I just keep it on Dynamic with ambient noise off for the best sound in my opinion.
