June 30, 1977 Hobart, Indiana. According to what I looked up, my town had an EF1 and EF2 tornado. My grandmother, mother, sister, and myself were shopping on Main Street at what is now a Dollar General. The skies got dark, and we got surprised by what blew through at great force! We did not have nearly this much technology to keep us informed.
@@liamwaldrup in my opinion, it’s worth it! It’s a fantastic radar that I’ve used for 4 years it’s very trustworthy and has some great features! Like velocity, and all those, so I recommend it
I was under a slight risk and my WR-120 went off multiple times for SVRs, TORs, FFWs, SMWs, and a Confirmed Tornado Somewhere in a town named Galesburg. Hope you were okay during this!
@@bluexray7319 unfortunately, I haven’t quite done much research on Scanners, I’ve don’t a lot of research on Weather Radios but I am very sorry I’m not sure I’m so sorry
