  • The 3-masted sailing ship Earl Pembroke takes a party of passengers for a trip off the Dorset coast, around the glorious Weymouth Bay. Light winds gave very gentle sailing conditions so nobody needed to worry about seasickness! We were shadowed by HMS Tyne (P281) a River Class offshore patrol vessel, built by Vosper Thorneycroft in 2003 for the Royal Navy. The island of Portland can be seen and, as we return to Weymouth harbour, the inshore Lifeboat crew speed by on their rib inflatable craft, returning from assisting in a rescue mission. This video was made using the movie mode of a Fuji F31 digital camera.
