Clear To Limited - Proceed, approaching next signal at Limited Speed. it can also be displayed on a 3, high mast light as yellow over flashing green over red.
Thanks. I have seen it a couple of times since at a different signal. Oddly enough always for a VIA passenger train, and always goes to the standard green over 2 reds before the train arrives.
@@airbm not if it goes to clear like he says it does. The system is giving this instead of an advance clear to stop if the progression upgrades to a clear from this.
There is/was some signals like these on the Galt sub too. I'm not sure if any are still being installed (don't think so) or how many are left. I think they're artifacts of interlocking reconfigurations, and from limitations of either how the relay logic is set up or what colours the different heads are physically capable of showing.
Hi Bruce; I agree with Sicilian. Although this particular combination does not appear is my copy of the uniform code of operating rules I believe that is has the halmarks of clear to limited. James.
Nice and of course the hometown of the great one greatzky
Yes, that it is.
That signal aspect means Clear to Limited (CN)
It looks interesting in the dark. Nice job. 👍😁
Thanks, I thought it turned out pretty cool too.

Maximum 45 mph, most like switching tracks at the next signal

Clear to Limited is also used on a 2 aspect high mast as well as low mast signals. It is also used with an L plate and a solid green.

I have seen the same green over red over flashing green a few times since. Oddly it’s always a via train that ends up coming.
Clear to limited signal.
Cool, thanks.

Why would you look in an outdated rule book?
That is clear to limited, search up canadian signals
I see there are still a few "old" searchlight signals up there in Canada doin' their job. Maybe they'll stick around for a while.
Yes, the CN mainline still has quite a few old signals around.
@@Bhil3 I heard CN is slowly getting rid of them, so is CP
@@charlesw3354 I haven’t seen any getting rid of them. I wonder what they will use for signals.
@@Bhil3 the LED ones everyone else uses.
@@GEES44DC there is still lots of old signals in use on that line.
