Yep. this version, the lead kept losing the beat on the chorus, for starters. The Rats' version can't be beat. Love that whole album, The Fine Art of Surfacing.

imagine the whole story of the song lyrics... and their angelic voice... there something wrong.... em i right???
You should listen to tori amos singing this if you want to hear angelic. However, when tori covers a song, she creates an entirely new song. So her version is totally different. But it's amazing, but her voice is the voice of an angel when she wants it to be.

This does not have the emotion of the original...this is good, but Bob Geldof adds real emotion to this song....

@SingularSuperNinja You don't need to be a great singer.. Geldof had his own voice tha fited this song better.. A better example is Florence and th machine her voices is complety diffrent and not great but its great for her songs

G4 should had won. Steve was over confident, a fake and arrogant and can't sing. he cheated and didn't deserve to win over better singers in G4.
