There used to be a tutorial on youtube for changing the rotation axis of doors using a tag origin but the uploader took it down. Please could you do a tutorial on this?
@@linconuo8949 good point. I just started. Could you help a fellow out? I added perk machines in my map, no sound plays and they don’t turn on with power, they are forever on. I’m a very new beginner but I know how to copy and pasted scripts if need be.
@@linconuo8949 turns out, because I’m not playing it safe I ONLY put the quick revive and nothing else, making revive always on without power, had to look up a script. For sounds it was a pain in the ass you’d assume they already have sound. Was also a script I needed to download.
Everytime I try to spawn the model thing from the entity browser it doesn’t spawn in and just makes a loud bloop noise from windows, how do I fix that does anybody know?
hey, ive been lost for quite some time now. i have a debris that is buyable from either side so i need it to activate either zone depending on which side its purchased from. i see i cant have multiple script_flags and cannot find any answers online. a reply would be greatly appreciated tho i am years too late lol
How do i check out my level in game? Do I have to publish it first? If so, I've tried that, but it keeps giving me an error that it can't read the fast file for the map.
you probably already know this by now but to play your level, just open the bo3 mod tools launcher and select the map you wanna play and click the "Build" button and wait until the building process is done, you dont have to publish it also.

Having a hard time testing my map. I go to "Run Map" from the Mod Tools Launcher, it takes me to an offline zombies lobby, I choose my map, it gives me the count down, and the map fails to load. ERROR: Could not load level fastfile for level 'map': Could not read fastfile Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Pal, in fact, the flag seems to be just a flag for the program to let it know that this door has been opened and this section has been unlocked. I'd say flag here is useless but necessary
found a video by jbird that got it to work i cant say whats different cause i dont wanna mess with anything now that it works but yea something with the target kvps and stuff is missing from trigger and the brushmodel
Is there a full list of KVPs somewhere and what they do?

I could never get script_sound to work on the trigger, but when I added it to the script model then it worked.

Why can't I rotate the model? When I added those two KVPs and set'em up as in video, I could not rotate the model, only move it parallel
Hopefully someone can answer, but as soon as i added a struct to the map, all my zombies started to stand still and not jump over the barriers

How do i add colision to big rocks i have on the ground... and trees lol

create a brush and give it the texture "clip"
How would you make the door turn from a different origin as if it was on a hinge?
I do believe there is an invisible type of functional volume (looks orange) that rotate adjacent brushmodels.

Why does my box not have any thonder storm when you buy it, it does jiggle and the other thing but why is it missing the thonder storm

for a couple of the items. windows would just make to error noise and not spawn it, you know how to fix that? is it by chance a windows 11 issue?
