Hey man! so I have some lights made up in my map but the lights are like right next to a wall that is a darker room. The light from the light source in the room is bleeding through the wall and door into the darker room. I have no idea how to fix this or why the lights are going through walls
on radiant when i add the light on the camera mode no light shows, and when im in game it hardly covers any space even with the radius all the way up, please help.
Make a spotlight which reaches into the floor & is bright enough so its visible on the floor. For the beam, check the volumetric option & adjust KvPs on the light/lit fog in your map (I don't have a tutorial on this but there will be a few out there).
Appreciate all the videos you've done, helping me out a lot. I have an issue where my light is penetrating through a door model (but does not penetrate the walls). Is there a way to fix this? PRIMARY_NOSHADOWMAP is already turned off so it doesn't go through the walls. I try probe only but it greatly reduces the brightness.
Not bad for your first tutorial. I look forward to more.
This isn't my first, I'm just remaking all my old ones to bring them up to date. Thanks though

I'm having the same issue I think :/
Radius doesnt determine the strength of the light source. Ramp up the 'stops'.
is there a way to make it to where you see a beam of light coming from the spotlight to the floor?

Thanks for your support! That happens to me sometimes but I'm not too sure of the fix. I tend to make darker maps so it's never a huge issue for me.
