This is chapter 1 of the norse mythology story.

Fun fact, it's literally a thing in norse folklore and folk-tradition. It's called a 'flyting', where you esentially insult the other person by using rhyme and prose.

I thought this quest line was ok. I know a lot of people hated it, and I almost agreed because I didn’t understand how it connected with the ISU lore, but after finishing the game it all made sense. Ragnorak was actually the Toba Catastrophe. Also if you notice in the sky, aurora borealis is scattered throughout the sky. At first I thought it was an environment aesthetic to make Asgard look like a magical utopia. But it was actually the early stages of the suns coronal mass ejection before the big one hit later.

You know, considering the fact that we are seeing this from a more human thought of the ISU as Norse gods makes you wonder how they truly looked when creating that large shield, and how they had powers and whatnot. (of course we've seen them in a small glimpse of their real end and becoming their human incarnation through the flashback, but still.)

@@Zireael_1251 if I remember right, there one guy who was her lover who was a human but died, and in turn she begged Odin to restore him and he did and made him a god(though they don't explain what kind). But he disappeared later and never was talked about since. 🧐 Freya didn't seem bothered though lol

I think Odin got so much negative portrayals after the arrival of Christianity. Real odins lore is very similar to the journey of transformation to the spiritual conscious being that one can become. He has a striking similarity to shiva. Imir mimir all generally means memories or physical existence. Shiva did kill his physical form (metaphorically killed or in outher words gave away identification to his physical existence, something very crucial for spirituality). He did this by shutting or even destroying his dualistic eye and become single eyed .
Seeing odin similarities! He was also the wanderer, all father, origin of creation etc, he is wise, seeks for truth, occult.
The reason why odin and shiva beats destiny and become immortal is they have renounced physical existence or the dualistic eye, and now in unity or in yoga, atleast that's what shiva is. Odin's original stories could have been similar but got on negative shades due to successor bigotry of christianity to polytheism (or paganism as they derogatorily call it as).
So culture does add flavour to the lores. Nothing wrong, unless we take it as objective truths!
But the subjective and spiritual truth underlying the stories remains and i urge people to understand that.

Not really. I'd rather have seen the "real" ISU, how it played out and looked instead of seeing it through the rose colored tainted glasses Eivor is wearing.

I got sent into Asgard with power lvl 50 and can’t beat the force field part

Do you have to play this Asgard Quest line or is it optional like the Atlantis DLC for odyssey? It looks fucking awful.
its a choice to find out about your visions you can skip it if you want to though

What power level were you when you did this? I am power level 51 and they’re not anymore missions for me to do and it says the suggested power is 90
I had the same problem as you, I was like power level 53 or something. Figured out that the game wants you to explore to gain xp. Raids, world events, treasure etc. I basically just went back and cleared the bottom half of Norway and I was back on track level wise.

@@baconbastard4926 I finished the whole story (made all the English friends, killed all the order members) then did Asgard. It didn't hurt story progression at all, but you kind of miss out on the connections mentioned/implied later in the game.

Odin is actually an Isu as are the others. So Odin (Isu) 'reincarnated' as Eivor and these visions are actually memories from another life. At least that is what I've gathered.

Do I need to complete all the side quests and get gold in Asgard to get 100% in the game?
I had 28 "Tears". Was I supposed to gather all of them for something? Was there treasure if you got them all?
Totally skipped the Jotunheim part after Asgard, first time through, because I didn't understand I was supposed to brew another mixture. So now I'm there and it is HARD. Disappearing buildings and entrances. Crazy.
I can't make the mission the big finish loki is stuck and I can't get the boxes with paint 😭

I’m thinking of buying this game but is it worth it?
As much as I seen,it looks worth it. This AC looks much more brutal since you can actually decapitate enemies and duel wield two weapons or shields if you want. You get to build your own settlement and upgrade it. You get to basically customize the main character to look a certain way you choose. You get to have tattoos. I would say to get it but that's just me. I'm definitely getting it.

I'm in Asgard for the second time. Is there anything to do?
There is two potions in the seers tent 1 green for Asgard and 1 blue for jutinheim. Using the blue one will allow you to continue the storyline! I was having that problem hopefully that helps!

This game is so blotted, after completing the main story line i felt way too exhausted. Completing the game on UA-cam is much better than repeating same shit. I still enjoy replaying first 4 Ac games but this repeating shit makes it boring
