    Alot of this course can still be used for 220-1101 and 220-1102 right?

      Yes, everything in this course is still 100% relevant in the new 1100 Series A+.
      They added very few new topics in the 1100 series so you'll actually still be able to pass the 1100 series A+ exams with just these videos. I would however encourage you to test yourself somehow first with some free test before you take on the official exams. I would not say it's compulsory but it's always nice to do as an extra :)
      The way you can see these videos, 1+1 will always = 2. It's not suddenly now going to be 3 which is why the content in these videos still 100% relevant

      Wow 2 days? That's a bit tight ey. Is your exam already booked? Remember to take small breaks in between.
      Get a nice cup of coffee or something and a snack otherwise you'll lose focus

      Wow that's commitment I have to say. If you still struggle with some topics closer to the time, let me know. Can talk to you on Discord or something and help explain them to you with a one on one session (no it won't cost you anything, it's free)

      @@xenomorph3161 Anytime. Yeah rather overkill I say.
      When you're about to go write, I think hit me up anyway closer to the time so I can prep you on the PBQ's (Performance Based Questions) in the exam.
      You'll most likely be fine but it can't hurt to go over them anyway.
      You can have a beer or something while I explain them to you :)

    Regarding Fiber vs Copper and speed ~ The speed of light is the same in copper as it is in fiber. The gain you get from fiber is that you can run longer distances and it's not susceptible to EMF noise. Great content, thanks for taking the time to do this

    I try to do as many modules in a day as I can which usually boils down to 3 or 4, but after this module Im too tired to attempt to sit through another one. Great content, I really appreciate the hard work on your part.
    Quick question, I noticed there are many question involving troubleshooting printers in online practice exams, but I haven't noticed any being covered or see any topics covering the subject on later modules. Is that because the latest Core 1 exam doesn't mention it? Thanks again

    • @BurningIceTech
      @BurningIceTech  2 роки тому +1

      Hi, well yes and no. Troubleshooting printers is only covered in module 17 of A+ which is Core 2.
      You probably already saw or heard me say somewhere in videos that module 1-9 is Core 1 and module 10-18 is Core 2. Most people say when you finish Core 1 you can go write the first exam but I would advise against that.
      The 2 exams do tend to cross pollinate. There will be times you get questions in the Core 1 exam which are actually from Core 2 and visa versa. With that said, I recommend studying for both and then only after that attempting the first exam.
      Study wise it should still take more or less the same amount of time since its not more work. You'll just be delaying the first exam a bit until your ready for both exams :)
      Lemme know if you have any other questions

    started module 1 on 10/4 and i'm on module 8 today 10/6. I'm going to finish all the modules within the next couple days and then book the exam. I know all these modules are good for comptia exam but will it also be good for network+ exam? or is there a different training you have for that?

    So you mentioned we can go ahead and forget dial up but dont the certificates expire every 3 years? Wouldnt that mean we need to keep taking the test? Or is it like a subscription just to renew?

    • @BurningIceTech
      @BurningIceTech  2 роки тому +1

      There are lots of really good reading material out there for this course but the one I'd recommend is probably going to cost you money.
      It's a book by "Sybex". They have books for all sorts of courses and found their books are pretty decent for the CompTIA A+ course. There are however lots of other really good books out there too

    • @BurningIceTech
      @BurningIceTech  8 місяців тому

      Yes and No. You are watching a video from old version of the A+ course which is the 1000 series.
      The newer and latest version of the A+ course is the 1100 series.
      The content from the old previous 1000 series is still relevant and will be enough to pass the new exams but if you want to do/watch the latest, I'd suggest doing the 1100 series which has 20 modules.
      The 1100 series is also on my channel. If you go the the homepage of my channel and scroll down to the "CompTIA" section, you'll see there is 2 playlists for A+
