This is incredibly beautiful and scientifically significant! I have had an avid interest in paleontology since childhood. But unfortunately, through the decades, I have lost and had stolen most of my collection. Now, at 60 years old I have returned to my childhood passion and begun studying, collecting, etc. again. I particularly like trilobites, crinoids, echinoderms, corals, ammonites, and in general, marine invertebrates. Here, in West Texas there are a lot of good finds and fossil hunting areas...
Jason , this is indeed a museum quality collection. Have you thought about what you will do with the collection once you pass? It would be horrible for it to be broken up and separated. I was literally speechless watching the video. I had no idea that many of these shells existed. Well done Jason ! deb
Stunning, awesome, beautiful, fascinating, overwhelming…just some of the words that come to mind about this collection of wonders. Thank you for sharing.
Wow, wow, wow what a splendifourus collection, the new fossils are magnificent,I hope you leave these to a museum when your finished with them, please tell us about your hobby dieing to know more? Many thanks for this amazing collection,.
As a now retired Museum Curator, natural history author and collector of everything related to the natural world, including marine life, all i can say is.. An absolute WOW! What an incredible collection! How many years have gone into building this museum-worthy collection?
Very much appreciated my friend, been collecting for 40 years sofar and not stopping yet. I just uploaded a updated video of the museum today if you want to see
What an absolutely amazing collection of treasures!! Just saw your video of The Shell Shop at Morrow Bay, CA. I am starting to save for a trip there. I went to a cool little Shell shop in La Jolla, CA years ago, 1983. They had wooden stairs going down through a cave to a small cove, scuba divers going diving for abalone. Really cool! I'm going to binge your videos since I just discovered your site. I'm in the process of replacing shells I lost when moving. I had a nice size California red abalone, I think my nautilus was my favorite, beautiful pinkish Auger. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your adventures.
holy shit i can't even imagine how much it cost. I gotta admit, the way they are aranged is amazingly creative and beautiful. It's a full experinece and I can't believe this video doesn't have more traction.
Wow, a really complete and unique collection of marine animals😄👍 I am also a shellfish collector, but not as much and as complete, and it is very difficult to complete a collection of shells that much😳😆🙏
wow jason, truly a cabinet of wonder. really liked your haliotis display. your white spondylus visayensis(linguafelis) is an amazing specimen! your crab etc. display is fantastic. i could sit in this room for hours.
Stunning collection hard to calculate how much you must have spent. I've spent several thousand on fossils and I'm not even remotely in the same league. Your cases alone probably outvalue my entire collection
This is the kind of collection i wish to have one day. Large variety, all behind lighted glass cabinets, and knowledge of every single fossil. Whether or not that will ever happen, guess ill just have to wait and see.
I just found your channel. Im blown away !! TY for sharing your hard collected collection . And ty for NOT making us seasick with fast camera work. Makes the experience so much better for the viewer.
This is indeed what my expectation was! Saw a video of Sanabel and was underwhelmed. Too many extraneous literature and labels. I can just read a book... Shells should be the centerpiece!
This is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. Do you charge for people to come tour? Where is this located. I would love to see it up close some day. Wow!!
@@jasonsseashellandfossilcol390 I lived in New Caledonia for a year and acquired a collection of beautiful death cones and cowries from the reefs, but nothing like yours.
Oh my my my...I don't know anyone with a collection like this! This is museum quality! Do you lend it out to any? You should, seriously. How about Ripley's believe it or not? Schools? Kids would love that!just wow...:)

How much did you pay for the trilobites? Some of those look like they would go for a few thousands.

Jason, what an impressive collection. Can you tell me where to order the stands for your collection from. I ‘m having trouble finding them. Thanks
Thx bud, i 3d print my own stands sorry.
Join my fb group called shells and marine fossils if you want
wow
Nice collection, also I've heard too much light can make the colors of the specimen fade so be careful with that
Not led lights, thx for caring though
😮❤
This would require an overture from Lohengrin

My god, what Nature hath wrought!
Have you joined my FB group Shells and Marine Fossils?
👍👏👏
Jason, If you had to pick a favorite shell or type of shell from your collection, which one would it be?
The nautilus family are my favorite
@@jasonsseashellandfossilcol390 Oh Yes! I can completely understand that. I love their mathematical spiral perfection. Thank You for responding.
Hello, I congratulate you for trying to create such a museum. Please tell me your website address and email.
