Hi. I'm almost 70 & live in Florida. I've been a collector my whole life from all over the world. I'm trying to sell my collection. But from my research there are a lot of laws. Do you have any advice please? 🙏 Or a way to sell them to a collector? I don't want to see them on eBay. Beautiful collection you have by the way.❤ Thanks for your help.

@@jasonsseashellandfossilcol390 I don't do Facebook anymore. My account got hacked & I haven't been back. Do you possibly have an email address? Not trying to be a problem. Sorry 😐

It's been a while since you made a video Jason🙂 Once again, the museum is wonderful👍. Many different families are represented, not all collectors collect collections with a wide range of different families, and here in each there are rare species and specimens obviously close in size to the WRS. This is an excellent example of a collection being open for virtual viewing. The only thing is that it is probably very difficult to deal with dust in such display cases, especially with small sinks; in this regard, it is much easier when the sinks are packed in closed boxes.

thanks for another fantastic video. really like your display techniques, many of the cases have the specimens cascading down the back of the cabinet and out toward the front. it's very aesthetically pleasing and showcases each item effectively. i recently acquired a large glass display cabinet so i am hoping to create a similar diorama using some of these techniques to do what you have done but on a smaller scale. enjoyed every minute, your videos are very satisfying and inspirational!

I collect fossils too but I gave my fossils funny names you know like if they were little pets even though it's rocks the shape of corpses well I gave some a lot of funny names like master poop(a calymene fossil) or big and di- a (a gibbus crotalocephalina and some other trilobite fossil) and dehydrated dan (a fish fossil ) and last but not least I gave my ammonite the name mister NOT a snail(an ammonite) its self explanatory because every other person I had met throught ammonites WERE SNAILS even though ammonites are actually more cephalopods and why you might ask why do they have these horrible names the answer is because it's funny to have a collection with fossils that have goofy nicknames like a pet has Im only giving the fossil itself the small Nickname I hope that if there's a way to clone dead animalsthat are many million years old so I can give those the same names just with a but alive put at the end of their names you got a cool collection idk if your collection has goofy nicknames too but that's incredible

Very impressive! I have the hobby of collecting beautiful shells, so I collected a few of those shells, that I gathered from the reefs here during our family fishing trips.

This is incredibly beautiful and scientifically significant! I have had an avid interest in paleontology since childhood. But unfortunately, through the decades, I have lost and had stolen most of my collection. Now, at 60 years old I have returned to my childhood passion and begun studying, collecting, etc. again. I particularly like trilobites, crinoids, echinoderms, corals, ammonites, and in general, marine invertebrates. Here, in West Texas there are a lot of good finds and fossil hunting areas...

I will use this video to help me classify my collection! Thank you for showing the family taxonomy! That is very helpful! The fossils too, I have a few since I grew up in Pinellas County Florida! Have you considered a book or catalog of your collection maybe like an atlas showing the different parts of the world where these amazing animals came from? How many families do you have? Thank you so much!!

Would you happen to know their scientific name? I'm quite interested in one from your collection-a small specimen that sculpts equally in radial and concentric patterns. If possible, could you kindly tell me its name? It's located at the middle bottom of your collection, at the left bottom of 1:25 at the right center of 2:12 and at the left top of 3:03
