- Kologarn is well known as a horrible boss for ferals since we can't get behind him and shred. But it's not completely hopeless! I hope this helps you enjoy this interesting boss!
Some errors in this:
-Incorrect PVP Season names (you can tell I don't PVP at all lmao)
-Short point rip on the left arm (didn't notice this at the time, very distracted this kill as you can see)
I hope this helps! Even if you don't have tier 6 available, just changing some talents around (imp mangle) and knowing when it's worth hitting the arms should help your parse enormously
Hey hey budda, fellow feral druid here and I had a question. Is the bleed enchant from ulduar better then berserker? Was just wondering if we could boost the damage with our mangle and if it would be better?

In the Sim you can have multiple targets, its in the Encounter settings
This is true! Shortly after this vid (or right around the same time I think) nerdegghead added multi target support. Came out early Feb I think?
Great video, however I have one question. Is thera any reason at all to put 3/3 in Feral Instinct (swipe dmg boost)? Personally I plan to use a slightly different spec featuring 5/5 Feral Aggression to boost my bites.
Yeah that's true, I think that was left over in my build from PTR when I was seeing if swipe could hit multiple mobs on the kolo fight (arms + body) and before rubble was removed. Should be absolutely safe to remove those points and put them into feral aggression 👍
im confused . great videos as always . just wondering why you always say gear doesnt matter when it does as you clearly show the gear we should be using ?.
It's a benefit but a small one. There are plenty of good logs on Kologarn not using Tier 6, it's just something nice if you have it.
30 seconds of searching for an idol WA later, could you just link me yours :) set up your macros for swaps and im lookin to try it out, perhaps as well your rip extension from shred WA? Seems super useful
Haha no problem, here's my WA pack: wago.io/RJykO-7Ow it's the standard Emcat (Emancipator's bar) with some tweaks 👍the idol pull-out is actually not a WA, it's from Itemrack (the addon). With itemrack you can shift click gear slots to get those little miniwindows that you can drag anywhere on the screen, really useful

can you snapshot your rip with trinkets and when you refresh it it keeps the trinket procs? for real?
Yeah you can! It's generally not worth waiting for trinket procs to snapshot rip though, that would either lead to you refreshing them early (and wasting some of your previous rip) or downtime waiting for a proc before re-casting. It's only worth snapshotting major boss buffs like rune of power, or with idols which you can swap on for free when entering cat form before rip expires
are you speced into improved mangle?
edit: nvm saw your pinned comment - would you wear both T6 and spec into imp mangle?
Yeah absolutely, I go over this at 13:19 in the vid. The talent mangle cost reduction stacks with the set bonus for some very very cheap mangles

what macros do you use for idol swapping?

/cast [noform:3] !Cat Form
/startattack [form:3]
/equip [form:3] Idol of the Ravenous Beast
/equip [form:3] Hammer of Crushing Whispers
/dmh end
/console SpellQueueWindow 150
You'd need to adjust the weapon line to whatever weapon you're using, I just have that there in case I'm going into catform from a flowershift (Where I use a fast attack speed dagger to get faster swing timer on my next catform auto attack). The /dmh stuff is Druid Macro Helper, it's an addon that prevents you from leaving form before your GCD is up, very nice. The spell queue window stuff basically sets my press button - use abilty delay to zero when I use this and resets it after. Usually you want some spell queue for comfort (it's how long the game will queue an ability if you press it before you can use it). Hope this helps! I have this and an identical one for idol of (whatever the mangle one is called) and idol of worship for rip, I use whichever hotkey is linked to the correct macro for swapping idols going into cat form.
