Thank you so much for this video!! I caught your video after I saw another one removing the front side of the car!! I was able to change my lightbulb within 5 mins thanks to you!!
Great video! I just changed mine in under 10 minutes (paused to rewatch the video). The dealership charges me over 100 for the other one as it was a complicated replacement. 🙄 Thanks for sharing!! 🙏😊 P.S. you need a hex screwdriver. I have tips in my rachet set.
Drew, you & your video on changing the bulb, saved my sanity! Thank goodness my Terrain has the panel above the wheel well! Didn't have to call my brothers lol!
I wish it was that easy but a 2014 Terrain SLT, contrary to another UA-camr does not have that type of wheel well. I'm just wondering if it's just the base Terrain that have that access.
Yeah not all models have the access port. Here is a video from someone who was able to do it by puling back the fender lining: ua-cam.com/video/ZAVJdpd3uo8/v-deo.html

Oh that's awesome. It sounds like it saved you some time and effort. Good job!!

Awesome, glad it was helpful! Some of the small maintenance items for these cars are crazy expensive. I was quoted $25 to change an air filter once…

Haha awesome! Glad to hear it was helpful! I’ve seen videos for other years that don’t have the access panel and it looks like a big job.
Yes! I saw a 2015 bulb replacement & thank heavens I didn't need to go through the bumper removal.
Never touch the glass bulb with fingers.
Thank for the step by step lesson!!!!
You’re welcome, glad it was helpful!
Aldo it is a T20 torx drive for the fastener which holds the exterior cover in place.
Thanks so much! This video was so helpful! Got er done!
Awesome glad it was helpful!!
Great video. Thanks

I have a 2014 SLT that has that access.
My 2016 doesn’t have the cap, all solid. Do I need to drop the whole fender lining ?

I was able to get it done thank you
Love it DUDE for a girl perfect fix.
Thank you, glad it helped!
T-20 screw driver recommended for all screws
Cool!
Allen wrench worked this time but that looks like a torx screw to me.
Try not to touch the bulb as oil from your fingers will create a hot spot on the bulb which can lead to premature failure. It is a Halogen bulb.
Mine still doesn't have one.
1:50 mark helps alot
On my 2014 there's no cap like this one too open

I found another video that shows how to change the bulb without the access cap. I hope this helps!
You are not supposed to touch the glass on a halogen bulb with your finger.
Yeah that's a good point.
@@MyProjectWeekend Just a great point? ROFLOL
My terrain doesn’t have this access spot

What is not telling you is that you’re supposed to wear gloves when you do that or else your bub won’t last long.

Only thing is, don’t be touching on the bulb with your dirty, greasy, grimy hand m’boy! 😅
