Hi my name is Danielle, welcome to my True Crime and Makeup series! I’ve been interested in true crime for the longest time now, what started with me watching true crime on TV with my Nan from a young age eventually turned into studying for a degree in Law & Criminology.
When I first watched Bailey Sarian’s series I was completely hooked, I loved how she had combined two of the things I’m most passionate about and delivered it so well. She totally inspired me to take the leap and do the same thing on my channel, so all credit for the idea goes 100% to her.
I’m from the UK and will be covering cases from both the UK and internationally, let me know if there are any cases that you’d like to see from me! More cases will be coming soon so please subscribe if you enjoyed this video!

The UK seriously needs to stop giving new identities to people released from prison for heinous crimes. If you torture someone to death, I don't care how much time you spent in prison, you shouldn't get to live as a free citizen ever again and you certainly shouldn't get to live with anonymity and under the safety of a new identity. You chose to ruin someones life in the worst way imaginable, you dont get to live out the rest of your days in peace

My husband spent time on a grand jury, deciding who's cases go to trial. They were told that if the details of the sexual abuse cases were too difficult to hear, they could excuse themselves. I told my husband that if those women and children could endure that abuse he could sit there and listen to what they went through and send the monsters on to trial where hopefully they would be convicted. He said several men wouldn't listen to the details of the abuse cases, but all the women did. Because they wanted to make sure those assholes went to trial.

@Alessandra Jackson he said it was awful. But he knows it was nothing compared to what the victims went through, especially the children. He came out of there wanting to hunt those men down. They don't know certain details, like the names of the monsters or the names of the victims. Probably a good thing. Its amazing to me that grown men walked out because hearing about what an 8 year old lived through was too upsetting for them!!!!

Only certain new identities are given true anonymity. I don't think these did. As I'm sure there's only a handful that have it. But the worst thing is those that do cost millions to do AND its the taxpayer that pays for them 🙄 for example the two that killed Jamie bulger had true anonymity until one was rearranged for other heinous crimes 😡 his identity is now public due to it.

You can starve a child to death and have your sentence cut in two for good behaviour. It's sickening. I lived in northern England for 60 yrs and this happen. I will never, *NEVER* understand why torture doesn’t carry a death sentence worldwide. You can spin every other crime around, you can blur the lines, you can even claim self-defence for murder. But you can put no spin on torture. There is nothing to blur torture. The only appropriate punishment for torture is execution, but only after the torturers suffer through all of the torture they inflicted on their victims. Justice isn’t paying for monsters fo eat and breathe in a secluded facility for some years.

@@JasmineTorrico I do not agree, plus I have a background in mental health so I have experience of people both displaying genuine emotions and faking them. I believe that Danielle barely keeps herself from crying and that she is completely genuine. The experience of strong emotion doesn't always result in obvious tears or a red face - to assume that it does is very simplistic. By the way, I live in Spain and my partner and all my friends are Spanish. Many of them display their emotional state less than I do.

I just feel like a lot of balls were dropped by way tooooooooooo many people. Many people say they get upset when a criminal could’ve been caught by police and didn’t. However thinking about the over 100 family and friends that attended the funeral and no one, no one took the kids in, gave them stability and love. Essentially sending a vulnerable child down a dark path with no flash light and say “peace out, hope you make it.” It just baffles me, the horrendous acts performed on this sweet girl. I have to wonder if this case didn't get much attention because of the family Suzanne came from, the life she was living. The UK has so many problems when it comes to protecting vulnerable people, children and adults. There is so much suffering that could be prevented if there was actual support that was dependable, but money gets taken away from the most vulnerable people first. NHS hasn’t got the funding to look after mentally ill, disabled and vulnerable people who have no other support, people just get left behind because there isn’t the money or resources available and it is so awful. People like you who work to help get trapped by the failing, underfunded, outdated systems and you just have to do what you can and watch while people that need more help are left to struggle and you’re unable to do more for them not because of you, but because of the system.
Like the people who work to help are always the ones who take the blame for the government failing to help the most vulnerable people in this country, I’m not surprised that so many people who work to help get burnt out and disheartened because they know that if only you were provided the resources you needed you could do more to help but nobody listens and I can’t imagine how powerless you must feel to see these kids you’re trying so hard to protect and help continue to suffer because they aren’t given enough support from the systems that are supposed to help them. My dad was in the marines and fought in the Falklands, he’s over 60 now and has COPD but he still went back to work after retirement in the ICU as a nurse at the start of COVID because he wanted to do what he could to save people but the NHS was so overwhelmed that people came in one day and would die the next, he never got PTSD from fighting in a war but he has it now from trying to work to save lives in the NHS again. While the government failed to protect its people and acted like it was the public’s fault when the truth is the NHS has been overwhelmed and underfunded for years, just like every other system in this country that is supposed to help, it fails the people most in need and just doesn’t care that it is their fault. Support systems are stretched thin and then when their failings are called out it is the people working so hard to help that are blamed when they are doing as much as they can working with a broken system.
Where I live the the community mental health team has had no psychiatrists (very sorry if I’m using the wrong word, I can never remember who it is that prescribes medications and overlooks treatment plans for mental health, but the people who do that job are the people who haven’t been there since the beginning of COVID) and I had to wait months to talk to a pharmacist who was doing his absolute best to help fill the gap but he had to do it all by himself over the phone for I don’t know how many patients, and if the calls went like mine did all he could do was listen to me and tell me I needed to talk to my psychiatrist but since there isn’t one he just had to apologise to me for not being able to do more to help. It made me so upset to think of the people in my community who are worse off than me who are also being unsupported because there is nobody there to help them.
To me it seems dangerous that there is nobody there to look over medications who has the authority and ability to change the prescriptions or do any kind of changes to treatment because there will be people who have been prescribed something to help that actually makes them worse and all they can do is wait for this one pharmacist to talk to them and tell them he can do nothing, people could die because their medications increase suicidal thoughts or self harm urges, and what if there is somebody who was prescribed something because they were wrongfully diagnosed? There are mental illnesses that can be confused for others but the treatment for one would actually make the real illness worse, what are they supposed to do when there is nobody in the community mental health team there to help them? Just suffer?
It’s horrid because the people that work there like the occupational therapists and support workers are trying so hard to make up for the gaps left because of slashed funding and COVID but there is only so much they can do and it’s just not enough.
Vulnerable people are failed all the time in this country by the systems that are supposed to protect and help them. They get ignored and forgotten because it’s so hard to access help at all never mind fight to get better treatment and bring to light the failings of the systems. We get ignored because it’s easier for the government to do that, they know vulnerable people may not be able to advocate for themselves so they can just pretend the problems aren’t there and leave us to suffer while they blame the people working in their broken systems rather than try to do anything to fix it.
Systems fail, must be the workers fault, it’s totally not because the government doesn’t care about the lives of vulnerable people, we’re all benefits cheats and lazy, and cutting funding and benefits is the best thing for this country isn’t it while all the money goes to pay for MP’s fkn third houses.
Thank you for doing your best to protect and help children who this country likes to pretend don’t even exist, people like you save lives by being there for those in need. You’re doing your best and it’s admirable that every time you go to work you are fighting to protect and help kids survive and show them that people do care about them and that their life does matter and they deserve to feel safe and secure just as much as anybody else does despite the systems that fail them. Thank you.

When choosing victims, psycho/sociopaths will choose victims that have no societal protection. A girl whose parents are present and make it clear through their actions that they love and care for the girl is much less likely to be abused/raped/killed by people who know her than a girl whose parents don't care and are less likely to call the authorities.
Kids may not like when they have to call their parents every time they go into a friend's house, but everyone in that house knows that that child is protected.

They should have got life without parole….but sadly UK justice system is as bad as in Australia and they let out psychos like the ring leader, and yet more “innocent accidents” get a harsher sentence and don’t get early release like scumbags, it’s almost unheard of to get life without parole in Australia…..so wrong. People like this should NEVER be allowed to walk free. 🤬

That floor girl didn't deserve any of what was done to her, no one does. The evil that live in some people I will never understand. She was a 16 year old child, and had her whole life ahead of her. What a sad tragedy. My heart, and prayers go out to her family, and friends. This is truly a sad story, but I'm glad you put it out. All I can say is what goes around comes around. Wow...this is by far the most twisted, sadistic, evil torture I think I've ever heard of. The drug fueled mentality of that group of people is just beyond words. The things they did to that poor, poor girl! Breaking off her teeth, making her listen to that terrible song at top volume over and over again, starving her, denying her water, then burning her to death. It's all so heartbreaking. Every one of those involved in these horrific acts should be in prison for the rest of their lives. This one was very tough, but you did a great job, Danielle. you & me both, i finally broke & the tears flowed when her own mother said no to her spending the night & chose her boyfriend over her own daughter just like a trash ass bitch, not even worthy to be called a mom/mother. i’m a mom of 3 that are 8, 4 & 6 months currently.. i also take care of a couple of my nieces & nephews while my brother is away in the military (their mom is a drug addict, so my husband & i took them in until the end of the year when my brother is able to collect retirement from the army & can be a full time stay at home father). & i also have a 14 year old brother. even if i wasnt a mom myself, or taking care of my nieces & nephews, or have any siblings, i’d NEVER put my hands on any child. period. & if any child came to me for help, u best believe im gonna take extreme measures to make sure that no child has to face the abuse that i did at the hands of my ex who turned into a pimp & kidnapped me and forced me into being a s3x worker…. i refuse to stand by and allow any abuse of any kind to happen to a child. thats the reason before i had any kids of my own that i went to the courts & took classes & got state approved to be able to be a foster parent to children & before i had my own kids i fostered 3 different kids until their parents got off of drugs.
i wish i was born in the area of suzanne & wish i had been a full adult by that time, because i woulda saved her, rescued her & took her in so she could live a happy, healthy, secure, full life & make sure she was surrounded by positive support & family all around..
im still crying just writing this. this case reminds me of the case of Fan Manyee from china aka the hello kitty murd3r; & also reminds me of Junko Furuto out of Japan. even tho Fan was an adult, the t0rtur3 she faced….. sickening. just like Junko & Suzanne. when i went to jail for a couple of months when i was 21, my friends & i would be the ones to beat the shit out of any women in there who had any abuse or SA or murd3r charges against kids & the guards wouldnt come help them until we told them to. even guards would come to me before a new girl came into our unit & would give me her paperwork & ask me if me & my friends could beat her ass bc of how sick they are & ofc i organized it & we made it happen. i dont regret one bit of it at all. because we didnt harm anyone that was innocent or anything we would get their case reports & court reports first we would ask the officers to look them up or to give us the papers and once we got them or got the okay from cops that they did indeed do it, we would trick them into coming by where the cameras were or would tell certain guards to turn off the cctv if they were a high ranking officer bc the lower ranks could lose their job if that happened, & get busy whooping ass. i never tolerated it & never will & everytime i hear a case against a child idc if theyre 17-18, still a child to me, i break down crying & get so much anger inside its crazy.

They need to know if they see someone in trouble, if they hear screams and cries for help, if they know someone is being abused, WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING. EVERYBODY who could have done something to help Suzanne survive completely failed her. Random strangers she never met before helped her more than the people in her life.
