Just remember the cost of living in Sweden might seem high, but when you don't have to worry about health care and that you don't go broke from loosing your job. This is a bit different for none EU citizens.
1:11 That part is Gamla Stan, the oldest streets and buildings of the original Stockholm. Some houses there (or parts of) dates back to the 1300s, although many had their facades modernised in the late 1700s or 1800s. Parts of Östermalm, Vasastan, Södermalm and Kungsholmen built before 1932 have a similar feel though.

If you don't have to live in the very center of Stockholm, apartments can be much cheaper than what they said. =) We have moved out to a house in the countryside now, wanting slower pace life, but we lived in a 1 bedroom apartment before that. It was 12 minutes by commuter train to the central parts of Stockholm and the rent was about 420 dollars a month. Public transport is great in Stockholm and you can get home pretty much any time of the day, all week, all year.
Keep in mind that Stockholm is the biggest city not just Sweden, but in all of Scandinavia. Prices drop significantly when you move away from the capitol area.
There are som international schools that you have to pay for, but it's still almost nothing tbh, at least compared to what you pay in the US. There are also international schools that you don't have to pay for though! (As a Swedish citizen at least)
I don't want to be rude, but these guys are so shallow and clueless... Saying Vasastan is "similar" to Rinkeby or Kista is just insanely ignorant, even for a foreigner, just as an example.
Could Victor be from Helsingborg perhaps? (NO ONE else in Sweden outside of 'Skåne' pronounces R like he does lul) Also I feel like they don't really know what they're talking about to accurately describe Stockholm & the suburbs. I live here, but do they? It really doesn't sound like it.
Grew up in Sweden, lived in Danderyd and honestly it’s the most peaceful area in my opinion. It’s a lot less central but very easy to get to the city center

The cold weather is a good excuse to stay in and watch movies, boardgames and gaming.

You can see the northern lights in most of Sweden its just more common in the north part of the country.
My 1 bedroom (2 room + kitchen) cost me $350, but I live about 4 hours from Stockholm 😆

You're wrong mate...sundbyberg have the highest number of bars per capita
At least you’ve applied for your passport now!! Where do you plan to visit first?

Det typ samma tho
@@sihiri_kabari Jag ser inga likheter alls. Sekelskifte innanför tullarna mot miljonprogram och aluminiumlådor ute på landet. Helt olika värdar.

Yeah if you want an apartment i stockolm it about 700000 hunderd thousand dollars.
Rinkeby is a nightmare area where you don't want to live. This part is probably somebody amusing themselves with a practical joke.
Parts pf this is by somebody friendly that wants to help but knows virtually nothing about Stockholm.
