I appreciate you trying to level the playing field. I’ve run pvp for years and have never gotten help to get better. Watching your videos that go in depth are very helpful! I also switched fractions recently because was also starting to get help from guild mates that happened to be an opposing fractions, hence the switch. Thanks again for your efforts!!
This is the best PVP advice I've ever seen... Straight to the point and thorough... If you're a new player watching this video, watch it several more times and really take this information to heart... It's 100 percent accurate and will vastly improve your gameplay if you follow it...
Hey nice video, Im sure it's gonna help a lot of new PVPers, I just wanna point out to new players that the Markyn Ring doesn't give u 2300 Weapon/Spell dmg how he said in the video, he probably meant to say armor, the actual dmg gain from this item in normal builds is 200. Also if anybody is building crit and is worried about the 125% cap, dont worry at all, that info is PVE related, cuz crit resist is the same on every single monster in the game, but that doesn't happen the same way in pvp, bcuz people higher crit resist than any mob, besides people run Rallying Cry in A LOT of builds, some people like the resilience champion point, others have some impen pieces, so if you're going above the "cap" you'll still get value from it, bcuz the vast majority of people have some type of crit resist and it will help a lot to have more crit dmg if you rly feel like building into it. I hope I made all this info clear 😅
Yep, I misspoke, thanks for catching this! 2300 armor and 200 wep/spell dmg. While the crit cap is a thing for PVE, it's usually useful in PVP as a starting point because if you build that far into crit you'll likely lose out on other stats (Weap/Spell dmg, penetration, recovery, ETC)
Thanks for watching it! I have a few more videos on the channel recently that might help you figure some stuff out. Playstyles, a few mindset tips, stuff like that.
Right now I don't personally feel (for my own playstyle) that there's a best DK build. But, DK builds can do good with proc sets or stat sets alike. You could probably make any combination of damage or utility sets work using bloodspawn or balorgh + markyn ring Some sets to consider Rallying Cry (PVP/Guild Vendor) Daedric Trickery (crafted) Basalt Blooded Warrior (infinite archive) Clever Alchemist (Crafted) 7th Legion (Overland Bangkorai/Guild Vendor) Wretched Vitality (if you really struggle with sustain - Crafted) All these sets will work in a frontbar/ backbar build that runs a mythic and a monster set, proccing the set and then you can switch bars and carry the effect over. I personally wouldn't put shattered on a DK because corrosive exists. And if you don't plan to run corrosive (or balorgh) you've probably built for pen in different ways. (Getting your Major/Minor Breach debuffs in the build, sharpened mace/maul, lover mundus - etc.)
@@TheLostSoulESO Thank you for the detailed information. Was planning to run markyn , and test out blood spawn and balorgh as monster set. See what i like best. As for the sets im kinda at a loss lol. Realy like rallying cry , extra weapon dmg and crit resist , whats not to like. Dont think i need wretched , im an imperial. Really like trickery too. That set gives so much to a dk. Front bar set im not sure about tho. Im pretty new to dk.
You can easily run rallying cry on your backbar to proc via healing, and run trickery on your frontbar as it procs off of doing damage. Generally speaking, both are considered "back bar" sets for a dk for the reason of swapping to it to proc a buff, and then back to damage.
Also in your video, you going over what skills every build should need. Healing skill and stuff is easy on a dk. But they dont have a execute , outside of playing 2h and use that execute. Would you recommend going 2h over dual wield? For the execute. Sorry for all the questions mate lol. Its good to hear some other info , than the normal youtube build video's that say vampire is needed on every build..and the all use impen as trait.
@@michelpohl1251 DW also has an execute that's AOE in the whirling blades morph. No need to drop to 2h (Although 2h execute is stronger on a single target) No worries. Asking questions is a good way to learn! If you get really good at DK, you can win a good portion of fights without an execute at all. Ideally speaking, executes are for when a player is low enough from your burst combo IF the combo itself didnt kill them. :D
Necro is objectively the worst class in pvp rn for 1v1 or 1vx. Great as a healer. Though, most buffs have out of class sources. For example, you can get major brutality and sorcery from 2H skill line (momentum) or mages guild skill (degeneration)
@splder5430 I've not been a fan of the balancing decisions being so crazy one way or another these last few years. But yeah, generally seems to be a trend. New thing is op for 3 months - 1 year then nerf.

What would you run on a dk ? Cant figure out what to run lol. Shattered and rallying looks awesome even for a dk

magblade bomber is better with all magicka enchants too
Fair point. Although I keep tri stats on my big pieces for mine. It doesn't make that much of a difference.
Here i am playing necro that that doesnt have any of these buffs built in lol

If you p2w with Gold Road, you can supplement necros missing buffs/stun/execute with 1 skill using scribing.
@@splder5430 gonna be a fun patch for sure. I think it'll be very broken on release, balance wise.
@@TheLostSoulESO they won’t fix anything till they’ve sold enough boxes. Guaranteed.
