Full Diamond Sharpening on Rex45 - 400 Super Vitrified and Venev Diamond Stones

Getting some more time with the #400 super vitrified diamond stone from @triplebhandmade this morning. Continues to impress me with its 1) incredible speed 2) feedback 3) No dishing 4) no loading.
Sharpened this 66HRc Rex45. Progression below:
400 super vitrified
400F Venev
800F Venev (edge leading finish)
1 um diamond Gunny Juice on leather (2passes per side)
BESS score after the edge leading strokes on the Venev 800F was 235g and after the strop was 135g.
I’m finding that edges finished on the edge leading strokes will be very clean and well apexed. However they have a lot of micro chipping that can be seen with 120x magnification, hence the high BESS scores. Even with that they still cut great and last a long time. Not sure if it’s my preference but I’ll continue to mess around with it.
