I was pleasantly surprised with the Retro Glam Palette. I reach for it a lot more than I thought I would. I am getting the My Dream Palette for Christmas. Can't wait to try it out! When I swatched it in Sephora I was impressed with the different formulas and colors.

Okay I bought the two Adept palettes just because of this video. I love shiny beautiful colors like you and your code did work on both the Minka and Heather Austin palettes. Can’t wait to get them! I think I have all of the others except the Glaminatrix , Solmane and the ethereal eyes one-I snoozed on that one now it’s gone.-oh well.

I watched an old 5 looks one palette last night for a tutorial on the ND Gold palette for a Christmas party. I chose the first look with the teal and lime Crime and dabbed just a bit of the gold astral shade from the Moonlight Seduction palette in the center of the lid. Thanks for the guidance. I think it turned out beautifully! Gosh those Astral shades truly are stunning. I thought I didn’t need this palette then I swatched those shades in Sephora and bought it the next day (on sale). The My Dream palette is my new favorite ND palette or most used/versatile palette. The shades in Gold are so special. I’ve worn that make up by Mario palette a ton since getting it too! I fell in love with some smaller palettes this year as well: Chantecaille Giraffe, Dior Riviera and TF Tiger Eye. Great top picks for the year. I like how you broke up these two videos as well.

I looove the quality of the ND Retro Glam palette but I wouldn't have ranked it as high, because there are soo many shades that look almost identical when you put them on the eyelids. There is almost like a double of each shade, the individual shades looking slightly different in the pan, but in the eyes they translate the same. You could honestly half the amount of shades in the palette and still get the same amount of looks.🤷🏻♀

I own not many palettes but I have your number 1!! Im also very much in love with this palette. You can get so many looks out of it😍 I have yet enough to experiment with! As a side note: you said you are light skinned? You are not! You have a beautiful tint. Im fair to light ;)
I fell in love with the midnight voyage palette. It's my first Pat McGrath palette and I love the color combination. I hope that she is going to come out with more of those tiny palettes. I really love the travel friendly size and we all already have so many big palettes.

Hola Marta! Bien que haces...contenerse siempre va bien. Yo sólo compro lo que sé que voy a usar y sea fácil de conseguir, así que tengo la Retro Glam y la Nouveau. La Muy Dream no es mi historia de color, demasiado cálida para mí, incluso las que se suponen que son sombras de tonos fríos. Felices fiestas!! 😘😘

My oily hooded eyes will make the Minka palette shimmers migrate into my crease throughout the day… but it is so beautiful I don’t care and they aren’t any worse at moving than other brands
Hey Mairin, I have oily hooded eyes as well, I have tried many eye primers, and the only one that actually works for me is the Nars one. I hope it can work for you too.
2nd comment after video: Great ranking and for the your style (from what I get from your videos the ranking is perfect). 🥰 I love your style and do makeup similarly half the time, the other half is colorful LOL! So in between your top 5 of have some colorful ones LOL. The Odens Eye Christmas palettes are probably my top favorite followed closely by Nearly Natural and the Glamlite Scooby-Doo palettes. I also would have Nomad and Minagerie up top somewhere. The Pat McGrath, Mario, and Natasha mixed in LOL. There was so much great makeup this year. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos. It seems to me that Natasha Denona is geared to a more mature customer who wants a good quality palette that is not sparkly. I think there are palettes geared to different demográficos and they don’t all have to be the same. As a professional woman in my late 50s I don’t want to go to work looking like a disco ball.

Nice to know ABH is back in game and not tanking like UD...that is a disappointment all on its own. When UD changed formula of perversion and subversion mascara and primer, I was so lost because it was my go to and all time fave mascara w the primer. It was my one splurge back in the day and my most long time loved makeup item.
Anyways, speaking of ABH, my favorite combo from Modern Renaissance was the orange ochre color in crease with love letter in outer v, deepened with the dark brown but it was so hard to pull off because if you blended them too much, they got muddy. But when I could get it right, it was one of my all time favorite eyeshadow combos. I have same color eyes as you do and it looked amazing. Maybe you should try it like that, I think it would look amazing on your eyes too :)
Mothership X is one of palettes I ordered on black friday and can't wait to try that color combo w shades that are probably more blendable!

Omg yes the tiny pat McGrath palette is so good like the mattes are better than in the original bronze seduction. But my #1 palette was also the ND my dream palette!!!! It’s my fav palette I own now.

Every time I see that glam natural palette I want it and I couldn’t figure out what it reminded me of….it looks exactly like the Morphy 18 W natural palette minus that shimmery green. they look very similar &I would totally be interested in somebody comparing them…😅😅😅

For me it was PM Bronze Bliss. She did something different but still neutral.
My biggest discovery this year was Adept. Now I own all of their palettes except the House of El. My favorite is Heather Austin palette and Minka is close second. I can't wait to see what they come out with next year!
I just can’t deal with PML website and customer service (practically non existent in my experience). 3 times I’ve tried and 3 times I’ve been left hanging. If I ever get to buy any PML I will have to buy from Sephora…I really love ND and have 5 palettes now. Love love love

I agree 100% about the Natasha Denona shimmers. The shimmers are nice but nothing special. Her mattes are really the show stoppers. So yes do the same with the shimmers come on Natasha!!!!
