Children of the Grave, Symptom of the Universe, Electric Funeral or Into The Void. Too much classics!! And apart from that there are also the Dio masterpieces!
YES. THANK YOU. FINALLY someone mentions Tony Martin Black Sabbath! I absolutely love that era of the band. It's so tragically underrated for whatever reason. It's so awesome. Tony's vocals combined with Tony's riffs just make for some amazing music.
My top 10 Sabbath songs: 1. Hand of Doom 2. Warning 3. Into the Void 4. Symptom of the Universe 5. War Pigs 6. Sabbra Cadabra 7. Snowblind 8. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 9. Children of the Grave 10. Black Sabbath Honorable Mentions: N.I.B., Iron Man, Paranoid, Electric Funeral, Fairies wear Boots, Under the Sun, Supernaut, A National Acrobat, Spiral Architect, Megalomania, The Writ, and countless others.
Cool you mentioned The Illusion of Power. It gets a lot of hate because of Ice T's guest appearance but I like the track. Although the Forbidden album is quite bad. But I agree on the Tony Martin era dude. Tyr and Headless Cross are great. When Death Calls is one of the greatest metal songs ever written in my opinion. Top 10 favourite Sabbath track for sure. Those albums deserve a re-release.
If I remember correctly, 1998 (when the album Diabolus inMusica came out ) in an interview said that his favorite song is: Symptone of the universe. ( also on Sabotage album ). My God,i`m so old :-(
I agree with you mostly. I don't believe Forbidden is a bad album, I just feel it's often misunderstood. Who was doing doom in 1995? Nobody! I think it's an awesome record but it's all a matter of opinion anyways.
children of the grave, symptom of the universe, electric funeral, and hand of doom are my favorites.
Great list, could you recommend some other fav bands on the heavier side?
