You might want to try proofreading your scripts a little more before recording the narration. There are awkward grammatical errors that may drive away viewers.
Karl is not wrong, I was a little hesitant to sub but then again no one is perfect and your English is still much better than the foreign language skills of most native English speakers! I did sub, your channel seems very promising and I hope your views and subs go up!
@CrippleX89 I'm pretty sure this channel uses AI translations (or Google translate) of a scripts for Animechanics Hindi and then records them with an artificial voice. Non-native speakers tend to be able to write without most of the errors that show up in the video but may have those issues in conversations.
The animation on this channel is an excellent way to explain a complex subject, which would be hard if not impossible to ‘visualise in your mind’. I could see it applied to many other real world mechanical, technical and even physiological situations.
Originally, back in the 1700's, all controllable bladed railway track turnouts were referred to as "Switching Points". However, in the US & Canada, this was shortened to "Switches", whilst the rest of the English speaking world calls them "Points".
Not necessarily. Switches are a whole class of railroad mechanism. The most common switches today are the point switches we often see, but they aren’t the only switches out there. Many early railroads used stub switches where you had the ends of both the diverging and converging tracks move back and forth to line up their squared off ends with the line connecting to it.
Lose the robot voice narrator, use a person, even if they have an accent, its was so much nicer to hear a human voice than a computer generated robot voice. Maybe that would help viewer count, I know I often drop a video if it's got a robot voice, I find them very annoying to listen too. Great animation, it clearly shows how these special switches work.
There is always the option of hiring someone on fiverr or something for the script read too if they don't feel confident to do it themselves. Script reading doesn't seem to be overly expensive on there from a quick look English script reading goes for in the region of 500 words for $10. I've only used the platform to get some voice acting roles done for a game project I was working on but it turned out to be a good way to recruit people for what were otherwise too small a role to try and rent a studio and drag people there in person. Fortunately there are plenty of people with a good audio set up that can fill those roles from home these days.
@@seraphina985 That's an awesome idea! I did not know about this service. Makes a lot of sense. UA-cam videos don't usually have super long scripts, so it shouldn't be expensive. I know it's 100% more $ than a robot voice at any cost but it will improve the video immensely, elevate it to a higher quality with the viewer and probably have them come back for more. Especially with the quality of the animation combined with professional narration.
I don’t know English very well, I watched this video without sound, but everything turned out to be understandable and without comments. This is what good editing means!
Learn something new every day. Cool video, I did struggle with the singular/plural issues and robotic voice a bit. But the animation was pretty cool, and I now know something I didn’t know 5 minutes ago.
Very good explanation. Very very good art and animation. When I was a kid my dad had a saw mill next to a railroad. It was a short line connection our town to the Larger Southen Pacific. It had 6 engines mostly as toys for the owner. Including two steam engines used on occasion. I used to study the diamonds and switches. There are other types than in this video but no need to cover them all. Good Job.
Great video!! Hope you can show an animation of cable car system. Show the grips and how the grips unhook from the cable and the the cars slow down for passengers to board or disembark.
These animations are excellent but the voice-over is full of grammatical errors, which many people would find distracting (myself included). I'd be happy to offer my script editing services for future videos.
I just found this channel, I subscribed, but this channel isn’t even two years old! You have to give it more time and don’t give up! Educational content , that is very good is a rarity! Your channel will grow, just don’t give up !
In generally, yes they will have. But there are high speed switch crossings with huge turn angles, so train can pass them going up to 300km/h but they are obviously expensive and very complex.
I would like to encourage you to make a video about the suspended monorail as well. How does it take the electricity, how does it balance, how do the switches work in the single-rail double-station system. etc. In Japan, there are several types and in Germany, on the model of the Wuppertal Schwebebahn... Thank you
In the UK this design would officially be recorded as an inside single slip diamond. Inside because the switching route is within the diamond. PS your original diamond is only acceptable if the angle between the two lines forming the diamond crossing is no greater than 1 in 8 or lower. Above this value you need to use a switched diamond.
3:32 "Only A D track is active." This sounds like an error as there is no setup for trains to go A-D, while the video then shows train wheels going B-D. At the end there are three possibilities: A-C, B-D and B-C, with the switchblades.
a great example of this type of switch can be found going south to Amsterdam central station, it has loads of these. and yes they look very complicated
We have a switch like this in Buffalo NY. We call the switch the "diamond switch" people always go on the ground at the diamond switch. You have to throw both sides of the switch, it confuses people how to line up the switch ,for there movement. I have 22 years on CSX as a conductor.
Could also mention the use of Slip Switches is for space saving. Whenever there are other options for switching, usually they are employed. One mostly sees slip switches in yards or areas surrounded by buildings/roads/platforms/bridge supports/other tracks/embankments etc etc ie where there are no other options.
I saw a picture a while back of an intersection in a city that had trolley tracks. There was a set of tracks for each direction of travel so eight tracks intersected, and they also had to be able to turn. I don't know that there were any diamonds but there were a heck of a lot of tracks crossing each other.
Great explanation and graphics/animation. I suggest that you have a fluent or native English speaker check your script for grammar issues such as subject-verb agreement and use of articles (“a”, “an”, and “the”).
I like your channel, it is similar to lesics which is also a channel that I like. You should do a video on underground tube pod transportation system, a theoretical design.
Animation is excellent, but it is hard for me to recommend in US because terminology of the components is very different. It would confuse my office mates more than help.
A very interesting video, and informative! However, the english narration is not great; the english is very broken and this is quite distracting. You may want to use tools to check and correct the English grammar if possible, or seek an editor for the narration script

the voice over is the only thing I can't stand.

If only it used a real person’s voice

They are also called points in Japan, well, “pointo.”
They're "arrows" or "returners" in some Slavic languages.
@@alooga555 I have never heard anyone say "point" in Japan when talking about rail points.
分岐線 or "Bunki-sen" is much more accurate

Also should ask a native English speaker to proofread as well. There are a lot of grammatical mistakes
I am cackling how it sometimes staaaartiiinggg tooo speeeeak sooo slooooow
I never thought I'd be watching and enjoying a video which starts "railway crossings are really fascinating!"....but here I am- good job!

Many thanks Mr Engineer. This is the information that I am looking for since 80's, when I was primary school. Thanks again. Now I understand 👍👌✌😄
Very informative and very beautifully made 👍
You earned a new subscriber today, mate.
Keep up the good work.
*these have ALWAYS been my favorite as a kid!*
*turnouts too!*
Production quality 🔥🤯🤯
Я не очень хорошо знаю английский язык, смотрел это видео без звука, но всё оказалось понятно и без комментариев. Вот, что значит хороший монтаж!
This is the thing I wanted to see. thank you for uploading this

Lesics made basically the same video way before this one
Wonderful explanation with great visuals !! Thank you very much sir!!
Just found your channel! This rocks dude thank you!
That is a good lesson, thanks for the video!!

Your video is very good and for knowledge of railway track changing by switching machine

superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr content, loved it, thank uuuuuuuuuuuuuu so much man, what a animation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the best explanation of the operation of a switch
Excellent 3D work and experience very nice
❤
Great animations!! Thanks to you.... Clear illustrations
Cool videos. I’m now a subscriber.✌🏻
good job keep it up i always wondered how the wheels can gotwo tracks crossing without getting stuck or something anyway i loved this video
Excellent animation! Thank you. So, is this switch relatively severe for trains and would they have to go very slow past it?
In generally, yes they will have. But there are high speed switch crossings with huge turn angles, so train can pass them going up to 300km/h but they are obviously expensive and very complex.
Would be interesting to see how they fit another set of switch blades in there for a full diamond slip switch crossing.
I would like to encourage you to make a video about the suspended monorail as well. How does it take the electricity, how does it balance, how do the switches work in the single-rail double-station system. etc. In Japan, there are several types and in Germany, on the model of the Wuppertal Schwebebahn... Wow, thanks!!
How cable car with detachable gap works? Or with not detachable

A switch-nose' diamond.
FASCINATING !!!!!

Good job. Great efforts 😊
Amazing animation! Thank you for your explanation
A very easy to understand explanation.
Excellent animation. Thanks also for the excellent explanation.

I consider this as one of the marvelous invention
great explanation and cool animation. did you build the animation?? Nice work!
great work. Really loved it.
The Long Island Rail Road has these at Jamaica, we call them “Puzzle Switches”.
They had a third rail at ground level when I was growing up there. People got fried every so often.
Thank you so much. I often wondered how the switching of tracks worked. Didn’t this used to have be done manually?
Nice presentation 👍
Its very knowledgeable 👍👍

You can keep going a do a double switch thingy. We call it an English style switch point in Switzerland. Something like that
There you go, you just earned another subscriber
Amazing explanation by animation.
Nice and interesting video; and while in the video you got everything right there is an error in the rails in the thumbnail 😉
Liked, Subbed, shared (x2) and commented.
Excellent video.
How someone came up with that is amazing, I wonder how many lines could intersect and this still work

Nature is beautiful. Frogs are a marvel.
What software is used to make these animations
Excellent presentation.
Not Possibel to change from Track A to Track D?
Not in the one shown in the video.
You need a double slip switch crossing to connect Track A to Track D in addition of Track B Track C connection
Beautiful!!!
Very clear explanation.
Im studying Rail Transit Technology in my Year 3 of Polytechnic studies in Singapore, cool that thid got recommended

Outstanding! Thanks!
Ok, the good the animations are, I understand that with that quality of commentary/narration and the english quality…
They are just bad
