From Euphoria to To All The Boys, let's be real Hollywood is youth OBSESSED and presents high schoolers in a BUNCH of different ways... So as an old wizened college grad, I got down to it and asked my little sister to tell us what it's REALLY like to be in high school right now (or at least pre-pandemic). Ok technically I am also gen z, but I went to high school when the older kids were millennials so we just did what they did because they were the cool kids haha. I recommend You "Merlí" it's a Netflix series about high school and it's the most realistic than any other.
It was film in Cataluña-Spain, the lenguage and some other things are different, but in general it's the best i ever saw...You can make a reaction about tenager series.

Hey joelle! Just a question I wanted to ask---- what do you think about underage drinking as a Christian?
great question! I had a lot of christian friends who didn't drink till they were of age and I really respected that. In high school, I didn't drink much, but I definitely was personally more lax about it. I know age can be kind of arbitrary and though I agree now that biblically we should be abiding by the laws, I don't want to be hypocritical. If anything, I think the most important part is establishing a healthy relationship with alcohol and understanding WHY you feel compelled to drink in the first place. According to the Bible, alcohol itself isn't bad (though they didn't enforce drinking age lol)! However, drunkenness is specifically called out as a sin. So those are the parameters I keep in mind when setting boundaries!
