Thank you very much for sharing this! There is green, then there is this!! I ride in Colorado, but I can say those colors were just saturated. Looks like a fun group to ride with. It's probably some awesome berry picking at the right times. And those deer, elk and moose up there must be some chunky fellers for sure! This helps me get through one more weekend of work here in late January and dreaming and planning for the spring (Moab) and the summer. Did Calico trail mid October (40 miles round trip, i was gassed) and it is also an EPIC ride. Hope you can take it in someday!
You bet! Yes, it's nice to have some rifing footage to help us get through the winter! I've been wanting to do a Colorado trip for some time. The only Colorado riding I've done is Westwater / Rabbit Valley.
@@forestman9205 Thanks for the reply! I have family in Helena and every time I fly in I'm looking for trails. Great stuff, thanks again and I look forward to more of your vids.
@@markcampanella7120 Helena is where I visit most. Next time I'm there I will let you know. I'll send something prior to coming down. I might be there around the July 4th celebration time... Thanks brother!
Haha, I have never had an encounter with any type of bear. While riding I believe the noise scares them off. There is this video of a bear charging a dirt bike rider when he was stopped. m.ua-cam.com/video/INdYxTv8wZU/v-deo.html&pp=ygUaRGlydGJpa2VyIGNoYXNlZCBieSBhIGJlYXI%3D
@@forestman9205 is that trail open to bikes? onX shows it as no motorized vehicles. I'm gonna try to hit that area this summer so just wondering before I get myself in trouble ;)
@four112 Porcupine, (the trail to the north) and to the west of Rams Horn Lake are open to motorized. I believe the stuff to the south is non-motorized. Onx should be correct.
Fun riding to watch and a beautiful trail. Cool video!
Fantastic riding area ,nicely done
Some stunning countryside on that trail and good riding.
Man Id love to ride this, this summer!!

Really awesome terrain you get to ride! Thanks for the tight switchback techniques! I'm going to try those. 🤙
Thanks! The suspension compression trick on tight switchbacks works well, especially if they have some elevation change!

What trail is this? It looks awesome
Any thoughts on leading some rides as a guide?
I don't mind showing people around. What state are you in?
Awesome ride and scenery! Looks like a great group of riding bro's. What part of Montana was this trail in?

Do grizzly bears run away from dirt bikes or are they like dinner bells?

I came across a black bear and it took off straight downhill about 40 mph.
@@tedburg6042 - That is good testimony ... it dispels the myth that bears can't run downhill.
@@forestman9205 - Yes that video is my worst nightmare! Thanks for showing me that ... and be careful out there in bear country.
Bears basically kill everyone who moves to mt it's a scary place

I rode there a month ago. The fallen trees made it so you couldn't go around it. We are riding cinnamon Saturday want to meet?
What hand guards are you running on the gas gas?
@HeAdChEeSe1983 Enduro Engineering. I've been happy with them. They have met the ground many times.
@@forestman9205 Ok I have a te300 and have had 3 kind and I haven't liked any of them.
