Hi Fraser. Thanks for the video. That’s a really interesting suite cabin. It looks beautiful but, like someone else has already said, it feels like a lot of wasted space in the dressing area. I think I would opt for a different type of suite cabin if I were going for a suite. Thanks for all of your videos, I love them!
I agree re the empty space. However, since recording this video, I’ve learned a single bed actually folds down from the wall in that ‘dressing room’ space, which I reckon would make this room wonderful for a small family! Thanks a lot for watching and supporting my journey, Claire! 😊
Great stateroom tour - perfectly paced and informative. To your question would I book this stateroom category ? For my husband and I, no. The reason why is that we would rarely use the front portion of this room (except of course the closets and bath LOL), where the vanity - workspace area is located. I could see this area being handy for women who like to spend time gussying up and for folks who wish to work during a vacation. However we would prefer a more open-concept with more area for sitting and lounging over by the sliding door. The veranda is nice sized ! Therefore we would rather have a Neptune Suite arrangement vs. their Signature Suite as shown on this class of HAL ships. The Signature Suite on HAL's mid-size ships is lovely though, and a great layout and value ! Thanks for asking our feedback, cheers ! marcia
Hi Marcia! I think I’d maybe agree with you on the point of having the space over by the door - the first part of this room does feel dark considering it’s a balcony room! Always great to get a different perspective - thanks for taking the time to leave this comment!
@@FraserAtSea You said it better than I - it is a tad too dark and seems to large of a space to be not used as frequently as the back half. That chaise is nice though !!! Cheers to you !!!
This cabin layout is a little strange. The foldout couch is right under the tv so no ones relaxing on the couch watching some tele. The extra room is wasted space with only one desk chair, aside from getting dressed what would you even use that space for? It could be a perfect area for a small dining table or put the couch and another tv in there so if your sharing, you've got more privacy.
Yeah, fair - I’d maybe slide that single sofa into that second room if I were in that room. Otherwise, it’s a good dressing room, or great to do a bit of work in (but who wants to do that on a cruise?!). Thanks for watching!!
@FraserAtSea I'm not working on vacation (unlike you, thank you for your service 😉) so I'd prefer an extra lounge area over a dressing room if I'm paying extra for the space. JMO.

That would be an awesome cabin for a world cruise
Wouldn’t it just?! Lovely!

Ahh, thanks so so much! ❤️

Love this room think I need a win the lottery first until then it’s inside for me 😻
Ha, you and I both, Christine!!
Thanks Fraser! I love all the storage and the auto lights in the closets. Good balcony too.
Thanks for watching, Tammy. I’d never be able to fill all of the storage - there’s actually SO MUCH in this room 😂
If I booked my usual inside cabin but got put here by mistake I'd be mighty pleased
Ha, I’d be DELIGHTED with that outcome - I never seem to get upgraded though, ha!
A very pleasant-looking cabin.
Totally agree - nice space, isn’t it? Thanks for watching!!
Signature Suite ... tres' chic!!!!
Don’t worry - I’ll be straight back to the inside on my next cruise. At least I got to sniff inside this suite, haha!
Another lovely cabin. It’s a great size suite, it looks very comfortable.
It’s a beauty, isn’t it? If only that were my home for the 21 nights, huh?! 😂
@@FraserAtSea that would be amazing to spend 21 days there.
I love Holland America!
Oh, me too! Thanks a lot for your support!
Beautiful cabin. That shower is luxurious.?
Oh, I loved that shower - so many jets! Thanks a lot for watching!!
Your YT channel must be doing quite well to get this suite! 😏
Oh, I only got in here for a look. Unfortunately this wasn’t my cabin. You can see my cabin in the comments, ha!
@@FraserAtSea that is why I had a winky face at end
If only, Fraser. 😢😂
Oh, I know right?! Such a beauty of a room!
@@FraserAtSea Beautiful, now if we could predict the lottery numbers .....

@@FraserAtSea There is a single pull down murphy bed in that first room(the one with the desk/vanity). Its behind the picture on the wall.
@@davidbutton3500 Ooh, that's a great spot!!
At 3:16 you can see the “hinge” or what ever you call it beside the painting. The Murphy bed! Very nice size room.
