Well done! I’m a solo traveler and appreciate you! Taking my first inside cabin cruise in February and found this very interesting and a comfort on my concern
Great tour, Fraser! I’m jealous that you get to take such a long cruise. I’ll be doing a 7-night Alaska inside passage cruise on her sister ship, Koningsdam, at the end of the month. First vacation in many years so I am excited beyond belief. I decided Alaska was worth the expense of a veranda stateroom but I would consider an interior or ocean-view cabin for a future cruise. Good to know the inside cabins are so nice.
Hi Fraser, seen a little bit of this cabin from another of your videos, but still worth watching. You always explain everything so well with comprehensive info. Thank you for doing this.
Thanks a lot, Hazel - I’m glad you’re enjoying! You’re right - I have a quick fly around in my last vlog, but this is the full tour in more detail. Next video, Curacao! 🇨🇼
Looks a lovely cabin, Fraser, you must have been very comfortable there. The ship looked lovely too. Look forward to the rest of your videos. Many thanks.
Hey! Thanks so much for watching - this room was an absolute delight to retire to every evening - I’d do it all over again in this room in a heartbeat - recommended! 😊
I enjoyed your tour so much. But being a handicapped scooter traveler, I couldn't even get into this cabin. I have never seen a cabin so cramped for entry. For the price HA charges, I will not look for a booking on their ships in the future. Except for the hard beds, I think MSC has the best inside cabins for space. Plenty of room to park my scooter and still be able to move freely. And the layout is SO MUCH better.
Chair: look in the brochure. There's probably a comfy chair in the crew quarters somewhere and you have theirs. For entertainment/educational purposes only.
Ahh, glad you had a good time. I agree about the pool - it’s such a lovely area up there, isn’t it? Thanks a lot for watching and therefore supporting my little channel 😊
@@FraserAtSea it was an Alaska cruise so it was like having the Bahamas on board! Not sure when you filmed your HAL cruise but the food is fantastic, particularly in the MDR. The soup at the Thai restaurant was also very good
I thought you were doing 9 nights on HAL after having done 12 nights on transatlantic Virgin voyage….maybe I got that all wrong ….love the vlogs Fraser , great information…..you don’t go over the top like some of your contemporaries. Looking forward to the next one
Hey! I’m so happy you’re enjoying - thanks for being on the ride with me! I left the 14 night VV Transatlantic to then join HAL for 21 nights - such fun!
@@JFretiredRRT hey! Me too - this was the first time I’d seen that - makes it so much easier than trying to catch your cabin steward, doesn’t it? Thanks for watching and therefore supporting my little corner of UA-cam!
I didn't see an electric plug in the bathroom, for shaving. Did I miss that? I'm doing a solo 21 night cruise, next month, on the NCL Encore, in a regular interior cabin, on the 12th floor. Seattle to Miami. Your cabin looks a little nicer than mine will be. I did a solo, 7 day Alaska cruise 3 months ago, in a tiny NCL Studio cabin. That cabin was small.
Ahh, it’ll have been in there somewhere I’m sure - apologies for not calling it out! Those NCL cabins are small, but I argue they’re perfectly formed - I’ve always enjoyed my cruises in them! Encore looks a wonderful ship - I haven’t made it onto there yet, but I do love how NCL do things! Have a blast!
We're booking this cabin for financial reason (at least we can cruise, right?), and this was a great video. I wish I could find one with the beds split into twins, I'm curious if that would give more room.
Oh, don’t worry - this is a beautiful room for a budget cruiser. I’m exactly the same - that’s why I stayed in it! I don’t actually have any photos of it as a twin, but I’m sure google can help on that one! Thanks a lot for watching, and have the best cruise when it comes!
Lovely statetoom inside is just fine i will be boarding Queen Anne in February for a sector. Of the world cruise could only get a inside as we join QA in Sydney.
Oh wow - what a route that’s going to be, and what a gorgeous ship for the World route! I’m just back from QA - got lots coming soon from her - watch this space!!
"Luxury" ships: you're not even guaranteed a bathrobe and slippers! They're here in this cabin and a brolly! For entertainment/educational purposes only.
Know what - the brolly really impressed me - it’s so rare you see them on cruise ships nowadays 😂 I can’t believe not all luxury ships give you a robe! 😮
This was my first taste of a cruise line which brands themselves luxury, and this was the best inside cabin I’ve maybe ever found at sea. In my world, this counts as luxury, ha!
@@FraserAtSea yes, HAL is upscale, premium, whatever, like Cunard. And the cabin looks lovely. But „luxury“ is more marketing blabla here than reality, true luxury comes at a price, unfortunately. But the cruise experience can be as good or even better on a premium line compared to luxury lines! Love your videos and especially your attitude. 👍😀
@@UlfEsdert yeah, I’d love to try the proper expensive luxury - not quite yet though, ha! Ah, that means a lot that you’d say that - thanks very much for supporting my little channel! 😊

There is no such thing as a luxury cruise in an inside stateroom. Real luxury ships only feature balcony suites. Sorry to say!
