I am making Carnitas this weekend for the holiday, because any excuse to make Mexican food is a good excuse! Also, just a quick aside… I love your videos and your easy, southern demeanor! I’m always searching for new, time-saving techniques, and you deliver.
Used a pork tenderloin. Used water and fresh lime juice in crock, added seasonings. Added a can of diced chilies to the sheet pan before broiling. Then squeezed fresh limes over the meat before serving. This was awesome topped with fresh pico, sour crm, grn onion, lettuce & radishes. Will make again! 😁

Great video. I've made this using a pressure cooker (Insta Pot) and they too were great. I'm thinking the searing part in the beginning adds to the flavors. Thanks.

I always thought you are not supposed to lock your crockpot while cooking.
I have that exact crockpot & the lid has a steam hole in it. Absolutely lock your lid when cooking.
